I have ordered the red king crab merus meat 3 times now. The first 2 times were amazing! Huge sections of “Filet mignon” as far as crab goes. However, this last time I ordered for valentine’s day and it was underwhelming. instead of 10 large pieces, I received 15 small pieces. for $199/lb (and $50 to overnight it) I have high expectations. Honestly I think only half of this meat was actually from the merus. I feel like I received red crab removed from shell. I emailed customer service and didn’t receive a response; so I’m posting it here now. I have issues with their integrity now ?

I’m from Alaska (currently residing in New Jersey) and one of the most missed delicacies that isn’t widely available on the East coast is Alaskan king crab! I’m sure if you wanted to go to a high class restaurant somewhere around here, you could probably get it… but there’s nothing like cooking it at home and enjoying with family. My Dad got the split Alaskan red king crab legs as a gift for us around Thanksgiving, and we absolutely loved them! They came frozen, so into the freezer they went when they arrived. All we had to do was defrost them in the fridge overnight and then steam them when we were ready for dinner. I was honestly surprised at how FRESH they tasted! Over all, 10/10!! I would definitely recommend ordering from FishEx, especially if you want some good king crab legs!

I love ordering from FishEx. I only had one delayed delivery and Brandi/Brandy was so helpful replacing my order without any issues. I will continue to order things that I can not get here near Houston.

I ordered from this company, paying for overnite delivery from fedex, which was delayed a day, so the product arrived completely thawed. After 4 calls to customer svc, I was relegated to waiting till the next day. I did have an email from my CSR, Miss Brandy, who assured me they would handle the problem. It was expedited to a manager, Cade, who was more than helpful with my product replacement. It arrived next day, priority overnite (which I offered to pay for even after the issue.) It was immediately put into cold storage, and when I got it home, everything was still frozen, there was still dry ice in the package.I am grateful for their customer service. Know that if you order from them, it is worth the cost to have it priority overnited to your destination...Haven't tried the product yet, but by the way it looks, it will not be a disappointment. First thing I'm going for is the crab dip...

They have some of the biggest bairdi crab I have ever bought wish they didn't run out looking forward of doing more business with them great people to deal with the one on the left is seabear smokehouse crab the one on right is Fish ex what a different

I ordered 9lbs. Of crab legs Auguest 11th. 2023. Payment cleared bank and as of Auguest 26th I have not received package. I got an email from FedEx on the 27th saying that they were holding my package in warehouse because there was not enough postage paid. I call FishEx and they said that if I ordered off Facebook that it was not them and I had been scammed. That was the same place I got their phone number!

These folks are either scammers or stupid. Brandi their supposed service person is definitely not a serious person. Don't waste your time with stupid people.I had a delivery scheduled for Monday and of course paid extra $$. It's Thursday and FedEx still has not delivered the Crab.Their response from Brandi with an "I" was, "I'm located in Alaska, and there isn't much I can do at this point. I did call our FedEx rep to see if she could pull any strings and unfortunately there is not much she can do."Thanks d*** Brandi appreciate I bought $500 in seafood that's 4 days late +1 for packing and poor Brandi there is nothing she can do? Send my my crab dummy that's what you can do! Still no crab!

Terrible customer service. they canceled my order at the last minute for a ridiculous reason. ruined our plans. And the way they replied to me was indicative of a company that had contempt for their clients.

I love FishEx ! I am a repeat customer and I never have any problems. I prefer ordering earlier in the week so the food will get there overnight. FedEx does an amazing job delivering, but you have to take in account the weekends. Don't order on Friday and expect your delivery on Saturday necessarily. I live in Arkansas, and it still amazes me that my crab legs can be in Alaska today and then I'm eating them tomorrow. I love the Dungeness crab legs, Snow crab legs, the crab and artichoke dip, and the shrimp. I'm super happy with everything we have ordered so far. Thanks FishEx !

I've ordered twice. Both times Biardi Crab legs. Both times they were pure perfection!! They were beautiful to look at. They were big. They were fresh. And they tasted sweet & delicious!! Shipping was fast & I look forward to my next order!... Next time I'll take a picture?

Sales still going on this week ! Great prices. I ordered Wed. 12-28-22 in the morning and got my order from FedEx at 2:30 in the afternoon today, Thursday. Next day air is impressive. From Alaska all the way down to me in Arkansas. Everything was still frozen with the dry ice as it should be. The order was perfect ! I had Dungeness crab for dinner tonight and it was delicious ! Someone else mentioned saltiness ? I always just boil my crabs and there is no saltiness. If people complain about shipping, I recommend ordering earlier in the week, and beware of ordering too close to holidays and weekends. I had no problem getting my order overnight. FedEx shipping is awesome, but you have to be realistic too and consider what day you are ordering. FishEx gets an A+++ from me ! Thank you FishEx ! Tomorrow I will be trying the beer battered shrimp. Yum !P.S. you don't have to thaw out frozen crabs in the fridge. I just throw them in boiling water for 30 minutes. Done. Might take even less time. I ordered Jumbo frozen Dungeness crab legs so I boiled them for 30 minutes.
