Great dining spot. From working lunch to semi-romantic dinner. Great service, top-shelf menu selection, classic (old world) dining experience - quality.

I shouldn't have ordered a burger. I'm sure they prepare seafood much better here in Anchorage. The burger was ordered medium with no onion. It came well done with onion, and I don't think they put any seasoning on the meat. It was 2 thin dry patties with a single slice of bland cheese. The dinner salad had mushrooms on it. I'm not a big fan, so I pulled them off easily enough. It wasn't terrible but I would have expected more from a higher end restaurant such as this. The price was only slightly higher than I would have paid at McDonald's so, there's that! Next time I'll get something that swims!

This restaurant refused us service. Despite the restaurant being very empty and that we had spent a long time walking here after a long trip, after setting up a table, the restaurant refused to let us eat there.

Great experience! Tried the steak sandwich, and it was very tasty. The pita bread with the artichoke dip was lovely as well. ?In the picture is their mud pie, which I'm happy I saved room for to try. Will definitely return.

My recent dining experience at Fletcher Restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska, was really pleasant. From start to finish, every dish surpassed expectations, showcasing the best of Alaskan seafood cuisine. The seafood chowder was a highlight, bursting with flavors and packed with fresh ingredients. Each spoonful was a delight, offering a smooth and flavorful experience that left me craving for more. The smeared Alaskan halibut was a true masterpiece. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning, it showcased the natural freshness and sweetness of the seafood. A testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality ingredients. And let's not forget the fresh oysters, a true delight for any oyster lover. Served with their secret sauce, they were incredibly fresh, sweet, and absolutely irresistible. I could have easily indulged in more of these exquisite starters. The attentive service staff added to the overall dining experience. Despite a full house, they managed to serve our food promptly. However, the only downside is, the waiter is overly attentive, giving us the vibes that he is trying to chase us away.Overall, Fletcher Restaurant is not a bad place for dinning. If the waiter hasn't been so "pushy", it will be a pretty awesome dinner experience.

Three of us had lunch midweek. We were seated quickly. We had oysters Rockefeller (very good), seafood chowder (very good), Ruben sandwich (very good) spicy chicken sandwich special (very good) and fish and chips (poor, the batter and fish tasted like it had been bought frozen pre battered. The fish was mushy and the batter thick and doughy). The server was pretty busy so no chance for feed back.

Oysters Rockefeller are superb as compared to the raw. Food is very good. Service is spotty. Recommend for casual off season dining.

Always one of our favorites. Hubby wanted to go for his birthday. His beef stroganoff was perfect. Loved my salad and chowder.
