This place is not very speedy with get your order out. Good food but you should not be in a hurry when Ordering for Delivery or Dining in.

Had a House Burger (had them add cheese), with half and half Tater Tots and Fries. Burger was terrible and not worth my time much less my money. Burger was dry. September 22 2020

I have never in my life left a restaurant without paying... and I did. We walked in the door and stood there for 5 minutes without seeing one person who worked there. We finally saw someone who stated she had been on break...great. We get seated and wait another 5+ minutes before our server came. It was all downhill from there. We ordered, waited, got our food, and never saw her again. We didn't get refills, we didn't get anything we needed. I ordered the Loco Moco and it was a dry hamburger patty and had about 1tbl of gravy. We waited and waited and waited and she never came back. While there, tables were seated and never helped and they got up and left. The guys behind us never got served while we were there. Maybe they should have stuck to a smaller location so they could actually see the tables when they need something.

This place has the most amazing strawberry crepes ever! My order had to be to go, employees were friendly and efficient. My only reasoning for not giving this place more stars is due to cleanliness of the floors and employees not wearing masks during this pandemic.

I love Kava's on Fireweed! They have the most amazing breakfast fried rice! Also, the rainbow stuffed French toast is delicious! The lunch items are equally as good. Everything on the menu is super good and the portions are of generous proportion. And if you are into homemade pie! This is the place to go! Their cookies and cream pie is to die for! Also, they have this pineapple cake .... oh my goodness, you must try it! Oh and the oreo milkshakes are the best in Anchorage! I can't say enough about Kava's!!
Love this place, i eat here all the time, food is great, big menu, Hawaiian style breakfasts. My favorites are Mikes Irish Omelet, breakfast fried rice, i forgot to ask for bacon instead of sliced spam on the side, they have an excellent Mexican crepes, tastes like an enchilada to me, the use to have a Southern crepe on the menu i loved, i attempt to try other stuff but i mostly stick with my favorites, i did try the chicken katsu, it was great, i love the pancakes and home

Service is very slow. Had to call the restaurant while in the waiting area to see if they were open. Don't seem to be concerned about doing job. Food is just ok. There are far better choices in town.

Horrible service, wrong menu prices, missing items. We were not once asked if we wanted anything to drink. We were seated and ignored. We both had steaks in our order but had to ask for steak knives. My dinner was listed as $18.95 and I was charged $21.95. Also, they were out of both soup and salad which comes with the dinner. So not only were we missing items but they tried charging extra

Kavas on Muldoon is my favorite restaurant in Anchorage, this location is closer to my house. Been there 2x now and was disappointed every time. Fried rice is mushy and overcooked, like eating mashed potatoes. Waiters never refilled my drink. When I ordered DoorDash, half my order was forgotten. Just don't go to this one, better off sticking with old reliable Muldoon location.
