My boyfriend, myself and two friends came here on a whim and we were pretty disappointed. most of all the food was bland. the chips were stale. i had the top sirloin and shrimp, and the only good thing on that plate was the shrimp. the sirloin was tough and flavorless, and the rice+beans were old and tasted like they were under a lamp for awhile. even the fried ice cream was disappointing. taken straight from the freezer on a plate.lastly they tried to upcharge us on several things adding up to about a 5 dollar or so difference. i know that doesn’t seem like much but for really insignificant food, i was rather disgusted.

They do NOT have birria despite advertising it on google. Everything was underwhelming.

Went here with a bunch of people for my brothers birthday. They completely forgot my steak, said it was “taking a little bit longer” and then finally (as everyone else at the table was finishing up) brought out a tough, burned outside and cold in the middle grilled shoe. I couldn’t eat it. Went to Taco Bell instead.

We finally found a good Mexican restaurant in the Anc/Eagle River area!?. We had appetizer platter that was huge and even had a couple fried chicken wings for gringo in your group. The entree: we did the Tres Burritos that comes with beans/rice and it was all more than we could finish... and delicious!Service was incredible. It's in inner-city Anchorage so be sure to lock your doors. Will definitely be returning.

Had a Taco Salad with chicken as the meat. They served up a plate of chips with lettuce and chicken on top. There were some hamburger tomato slices on the plate. Chef didn't drain the lettuce so there was a nice pool of water under the chips which were a bit stale. The waiter was busy learning swear words and cursing coming from the kitchen for all the dining room to hear.

Everything was bland. No flavor chicken didn't even taste like chicken. Onions were burnt, the corn tortillas didn't even taste like corn tortillas. Only thing that was good was the water, tea was ok. Don't recommend this place at all.

Door dashed this dinner for my family and I and not a single person enjoyed their meal. Ordered with extra meat, don’t believe anyone had it but I did pay for it. Asked for no onions and there was more onions than anything else in my fajitas. Steak was bland and chewy. Rice was felt plastic like and bland as well. Beans were good, tortillas were ok, very much store bought like. Definitely don’t recommend and won’t be ordering again. Usually we order from El Rodeo but wanted to try a new place. Live and learn.

Great food - actually has spicy salsa which is tough to find in Anchorage. Great drinks and friendly service. Among the best Mexican in Anchorage and we frequent them all.
