I'm a Mexican food nut/aficionado who has lived in Anchorage since 1978; have sampled pretty much every Mexican restaurant in town and have frequently patronized 2-3 of them over the years. My go to place is now Los Arcos, where they serve up the most flavorful meals, largest portions...and the best margaritas in town. Marinades, seasonings and sauces are dialed-in to perfection, leading to exceptionally tasty and well balanced flavors. This is a small family operation; they offer friendly, warmhearted and efficient service in an attractive environment.

Very friendly and attentive service. Food was delicious, portions very generous. Halibut ceviche was wonderfully fresh. We had guacamole, quesedilla, fajitas, chile rellejeno, chimichangas and tacos, and all were very flavorful. Horchata was a touch too sweet for me but the kids loved it. Best flan I had anywhere in Anchorage! Wonderful family run restaurant. Highly recommend.
Recommended dishes: Chimichanga, Chips and Salsa, Carne Asada

The “Mexican cuisine” was not authentic at all. The waiter was rude and quick and so short to get my order not kind or polite at all. And the atmosphere could have looked better.

Tried this place a few years ago. It was ok, nothing amazing. Figured we’d give it another try based on recent reviews.Went in on a Sunday night. It wasn’t too busy. Stood at the front door to be seated…nothing. Not a “hello…be right by with you…just a moment”…Nothing. We had a few waiters walk by us, looked at us and said nothing. We stood for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged until we walked out.

The margarita was very good! The chips and salsa were warm and tasty, and the food was served nice and hot. My only complaint is that the cold air came in every time a customer opened the door because the door closed very slowly and would cool down the food.

This restaurant is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. We had a male server that was serving us. We ordered our food. The server didn't bring us our food. Not all of us got our food. While we where eating 30 minutes in eating we still had not seen our server he didn't even check on us to see how we where doing or if all of us got our food. I had to get another waitress to get us the rest of our food. Forty five minutes later our server decides to show up. Seemed my he didn't even care to want to help us out. He spent more time hanging out with a male customer rather taking care or the customers at the table he was working. The other customers were complaining. Where is our server to help with our food. The food was cold and disgusting. I will never eat at this restaurant ever again or recommend anybody else. This was the worst experience. The manager needs to fire that coworker for not taking care of the customers and doing a good job. This was around 5pm today. November 30th 2023

Family oriented, great food. The agave margarita is bomb! Oh, and they celebrate Taco Tuesday!
