Denali Pretzels & Coffee Co Pretzel Store • $
5000 W International Airport Rd, Anchorage

“After going through security (just after 6 am), I made a quick stop here. The sun was coming up, but the brightest spot in my morning were the 2 employees. I got a doughnut and got gently reminded that it’s hard to eat one without coffee- so true! I don’t know their names, but both the gal and guy were so pleasant. They seemed to enjoy their jobs so much that their cheer rubbed off on me. I told my husband that he needed to get his coffee there too. He had the same experience. The doughnut and coffee were great, but the employees were even better. They need a bonus/raise! Thank you!!!“

“For a fast food pretzel place this place is the bomb. They change out there Joe and their case every 30 minutes whether it's sold or not and if you eat it while it's hot it is the best on the planet like anything if you let it cool it loses some flavor but if you eat it well it's hot it is the best.“

Sweet Almond Pretzel

“Need a pretzel, this is the place in the dimond center mall. I really like that their cheese is a little bit spicy, it adds a lot, oh, and I need the cheese for the salted pretzels, they just work well together. If you are there just before closing, you can get a good discount pretzel, nice late night treat.“

“I had the club sandwich (whole) for $20.50Very generous portions that are worth the money. Caesar salad for the side was delicious.Soft drinks for $3.75 each.Excellent service and delicious food. My only complaint is actually in the favor of the employee. Mainly the ones working for tips. A party of 6 or more gets the usual treatment and gets hit with a 20% gratuity charge for the order, even if you are actually splitting the bill. This is all understandable because I believe you should tip and there are, in my opinion, some really cheap people, to put it nicely, who don't tip. The problem is my bill was a little over $80 so the 20% was only $16 and some change. There is an option to add more tips but I feel like that's going too far when a tip was automatically added. And for the record I would have tipped the server $20-25 for a bill that high which clearly is more. Management should pay them more and let the customer choose the tip amount.“
