As visitors to Anchorage we weren't sure where to go. Stumbled on this place during a snow storm. The woman that owns and operates is dedicated to getting the place going. Lots of outdoor seating, so, when the good weather comes it will be popular.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever experienced in my life. Went there for brunch breakfast last year and waited over 1.5 hours for the food. Don't bother washing your time and money!

The phone lines are always busy. I had to contact the hotel to find out if my reservation was still available for the next day. Thankfully, I got ahold of the hotel concierge who was willingly going to assist me with my request. While waiting for a response on the phone, I was connected with another customer who was trying to make a reservation for the hotel room. We were both shocked and confused about the situation. This was really frustrating for me because I have been trying to get ahold of this place and luckily I read the reviews online and it’s not recommended for anyone who wants to have a good experience at all.

Went to the pub in our hotel for drinks at the end of our time in Anchorage. Tyrese, our server, was a dear despite difficult circumstances. I'd not recommend going here unless, like us, fate forces your hand. Neither bar nor restaurant was busy late on a Sunday evening. However, it took 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. Cocktails were not well made. One mixed drink (d&s) had no alcohol, a charge which the bartender first hotly denied then relented and offered to 'top off' the drink. Bitters and lime juice does not make a good drink as there wasn't any ginger beer in there either. No thank you. Hopefully your experience will be better. There are awards on the wall for this restaurant. Perhaps the missing element for a good 'pub' experience will be rediscovered by the time you arrive.

One of our party got fish and chips and was given a tiny cup of ketchup. When she asked for more ketchup the waitress said “the head chef makes us charge you for more ketchup.”Please note that isn’t a cheap restaurant at all. Maybe the head chef should focus on not serving salmon cooked until it has turned to rubber and tasteless shrimp on the seafood trio platter instead of charging for ketchup.
Very cool atmosphere. Igloo set up is lighted, had heat or cool air, and affords privacy for our party. Great food. Our server was very efficient and friendly.

I’m not sure what some of the “meh” mealreviews are about because our meal was delicious. The rib steaks were of an excellent quality and cooked to perfection. Everything about our meal was delicious and it was presented to us in a timely and pleasant presentation. Andrew gave us amazing service and was attentive without intruding. The atmosphereis decent but did not shine as bright as the meal and service.

Food is not the strong suit here. Pasta was terribly dry, so I sent it back. Ask for a medium cooked hamburger with fries. When I got the burger, it was mostly raw meat. I had to ask the waiter to microwave the burger so I could eat some of it. Very unimpressed with the food and would not eat here again. The bar staff was nice but very busy as he was short staffed.

We loved our visit. We sat inside on the lounge side and enjoyed the live music. Friday evening features a jazz trio that is really great. The server we had was the best. The food was good, and it ranks as an all-around favorite for me now. It's just the right casual all-around relaxing vibe.
