Place was great! The service was fantastic the woman who helped us was very kind and helpful in helping me make my decision on what I wanted. The place is set up very nice and definitely has room for you in a few friends. Not a huge area to sit and eat but more than enough. The food itself was fantastic and the portion was huge. I only was able to eat about half of that box and drink part of my suit. It was very enjoyable the next day as well for breakfast. If I'm in this area, I will definitely be back.

Quick friendly service and a variety of Japanese lunch style bowls and rolls.I love this lunch stop. The bowls have plenty of meat, rice and fresh veggies. I like Ryuu’s food so much I often schedule my errands around town to be there for my lunch. Now that is a sign of serious delight for me! ?

Visiting Anchorage and found this great little place. The home brewed iced tea is perfectly made, just a hint of sweet. The desserts also are made in-house. Kind service. Highly recommend!

Honestly better than most of the sit down sushi restaurants. Small space- only has a few bench seats. But that also means no frills, just good food. Wall art is cute comic book style, good atmosphere. Generous with their lunch specials.

Best chicken karage I've had in America! The sauce is a good pair with the chicken. It was the most similar to ones i've had in Japan. Sushi was good, not overwhelming with too much rice. Bibimbop sauce was a sour red gochujang sauce which is often used with raw fish bowls. I personally prefer the sweeter gochujang mix which is also more traditional korean. Cheesecakes were OK. Not on the sweet side at all. We always order take out as the inside seems a bit small and can feel crowded. Food is always prepared fast. Will be ordering more in the future.

Its a place we usually go to for a quick meal, just know that the sitting area is limited. Other than that the portions and customer service was good and menu price is fair.

Some of the friendliest people in the 49th are here. Occasionally, we struggle with the words but because everyone is patient, we have a fantastic meal every time. You get a fair portion for the money and there's usually a short wait. There's plenty of parking even during the holidays. I rotate between my favourites. So tonight will be the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl then Wednesday will most likely be Unagi Bowl (bbq eel) or Bulgugi Bowl (Stir fried marinated beef, pan fried egg). Another wonderful option is the Udon soup with fishcakes, Tempura Appetizer. They have a wide variety of rolls. The very best being: Rainbow1, Philadelphia and the Tiger! Poor Mrs. E...doesn't do sushi or any fish. She's happy with their Bento Box.One of their best menu items is the cheesecake. Strawberry is out fav. The Blueberry is outstanding, too!08/23
