Had an absolute fantastic meal at Sam’s City Diner! The service was great, super friendly staff, and our food was delicious. We came for breakfast and they had a great variety of bfast foods. The crabby benny is 10/10! The restaurant had a retro, old school classic diner vibe. I will definitely be coming back when in Anchorage again!

Historic place, really good ambiance. Had high expectations but the food quality didn’t meet the bar. We ordered Avocado Toast and Veg Omelette. The hash browns in Omelette tasted odd and spoiled the overall dish. Mocha was really good, and hot tea was nothing special.

I've been here twice. Both times were good experiences. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The food was good. I'll be back to try other things on the menu. Breakfast, yummy, and the steak dinner good.

Very good breakfast! Good service and not bad on the wallet. Highly recommend the corn beef hash. But without the creamy parmesan sauce, it was on point. The biscuits and gravy had an excellent flavor without adding salt and pepper all over it. And the service was very quick and efficient highly recommend.
