Food and service were bad. We paid $170 for mediocre food and bad service. We waited 10 minutes to order our drinks. There were 3 tables and 5 staff on our side. It took another 10 minutes for our drinks to come. Our salmon was over cooked and dry. My $50 steak was well done and chewy when I ordered medium rare. I brought this to my servers attention and nothing was done. We ate here on 4/12/24.

The unveiling cocktail for two was pretty lackluster, but the burger and crab-stuffed halibut were enjoyable.

On the day of our elopement we made reservations here at Simon & Seafort and they did not disappoint!! We were finishing up with our photos, so running a bit late, but we were still seated and our table was exquisite! Overlooking the ocean with rose petals on the table!! Just beautiful! Benson was our server and he was so kind, excited for us and our nuptials and made sure we had the experience we were after! We can’t thank you enough Benson for greeting us so warmly, congratulating us and helping us celebrate!! The food was AMAZING!!! Make sure to get the calamari! Best we’ve ever had!!! The wagyu steak was cooked to perfection and the crème brûlée was to die for!! Thank you to all who made our experience at Simon & Seafort so memorable! We can’t wait to come back!!

Crab stuffed halibut - best entree in the state. Wasn’t that good. Had a better one next day.

The food was excellent the service was outstanding. I didn't like the abbreviated menu, I prefer ribeye steak over prime rib. Steak was only offered as a combination with seafood. The key lime pie was delicious as usual.

Simon & Seafort's has always been our choice for celebrating special times in our family. The restaurant is clean and quiet allowing for conversation and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And, of course, the food is exceptional with offerings from seafood to tender beef.

Simon's was recommended by several Alaskan friends. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. This really could be just a one-off night which I know happens.First, the server was pleasant and kind, but I don't appreciate the slight push of joining the Landry Restaurant group for points before I order. It made me wonder if they receive credit for how many people they sign up for. It could easily be done near the end of dinner by just asking a simple question of are you.I felt rushed through my dinner. I typically eat slower and like to enjoy.I do highly appreciate that they communicate what fish is fresh and not frozen. That was the main reason I decided to dine there. The oysters were tiny. I've had oysters several times while in Alaska, and never were they this small. Two even tasted a little off. I love oysters, so it was disappointing. Later, during my entree, another table commented on how small they were and received nice big plump ones from the Manager. The Moroccan halibut was cooked perfectly. The cous cous had great flavor. Just a little crunchy from, I'm assuming sautéing it with the vegetables to heat it. The yogurt sauce was good but not needed or less sauce. The flavor of the fish, in my opinion, was wonderful and didn't need a sauce. I would highly recommend this seasonal entree. When I told the server I didn't want dessert, she brought my check to me quickly. I had to ask for hot tea after she dropped the check, which caused her to redo the check. $4.50 for hot tea is a little absurd, but I get it.Overall, I would be willing to give it another try. When paying higher prices, I have an expectation. This is not to bash them, but to give honest feedback.

Great food and wine! Great service. A bit pricey though. We were refered to Simon and Seafort by Ms Tierra of Clarion Suites. We had halibut and grilled seafood mix. We tried it and we’re glad. It was a great experience.

Kathleen is a wonderful server. Thank you to Carmichael and Jordan for such great hospitality, every time I dine at Simon's. The views of the ocean are beautiful from the dining room. The ribeye was delicious along with the spinach and mashed potatoes. The wine was paired perfectly. Thank you, again.

This restaurant made my whole trip! I could have come back the next day and did it all over again. Every staff member that we encountered was amazing and friendly. The drinks were great and those halibut cheeks were just top notch! The prime rib that my husband had was delicious as well. Such a great experience and amazing view. Hands down my top 5 best thing I ever ate was those halibut cheeks! Excellent job! Can't wait to go back! P.S. if you are on a diet, ask the waiter/ress immediately not to bring out the bread...otherwise you are in trouble because it is so good!!!
