Beautiful views, amazing service and great food. The servers were so nice, some of the best I've had since I've lived in Anchorage. Our new go to!

I love this place ! Great service and sometimes a view if you are lucky enough! The staff is always warm and welcoming beer for lunch or dinner and the ambience is quiet and elegant for Anchorage!

Great Fish & Chips. My goal is to describe how yummy it was with 85 characters. Lovely taste and texture. I had a great experience eating food from Simon & Seaforts. I loved the malt vinegar and the portions are generous. It also came with ketchup. I've been to the restaurant and the ambiance was very comfortable. It was a real treat. The servers made me feel appreciated as a customer

Really beautiful restaurant absolutely they have great food. Seriously the best steak I've had on a long time. The sides of garlic potatoes and salad were also excellent. I also found my new favorite wine at the restaurant. They have extremely friendly and welcoming staff. It was actually noticeable how friendly the staff was. The only negative of the evening was the older heavy set lady who brought us to our table on Saturday night. Apparently she doesn't like pink because she made sure to glare at me as she came to seat us, again while she sat us and the again when I used the restroom. I had to laugh it off I'm too old to let miserable people mess up my night. However for the young girl out on a date at this restaurant ignore this hater.

The food is great. The Alaskan Halibut Cheeks is so tasty. The pan seared scallops are the best I have ever tasted. The service is impecable, special mention to Tim and Keith, who are very knowledgeable on what to recommend..They are a very good team and always attentive to customer's needs. I compare them to Simon and Garfunkel, who creates great music. They create great service above and beyond. The key lime pie recommendation tops it all. Thank you, Tim and Keith.

I asked around about this place before I went and did not hear good things. I decided to still give it a try because I'm a big seafood fan and I thought it would be good because it's by the water idk. The shrimp was okay nothing special. The salmon was kind of small but it was good. Scallops were probably better than the two. But the calamari was the star of the show. The smoked bourbon was very good. They serve it and make a show of it with a torch. The atmosphere was nice and if you get there around sunset it's really gorgeous. If you are sitting by the window of course. All in all it wasn't bad. Nothing to rave about nothing to complain about.

So sad to have to share our experiences and my review of two stars. In June of 2022 the four of us went to celebrate my daughter in laws birthday. The birthday girl was excited to have the crab & shrimp fettuccine as well as myself. BIG disappointment, no crab & shrimp to be seen. We had mentioned it to our server who tried to make it right and provided a discount of some sort. We understand items run low maybe they were trying to get over the evening running low on crab & shrimp so we got over it until December of 2023. We had two birthday celebrations this special dinner occasion and remembered our disappointment the previous visit but thought NO way could that happen two times in a row. Sure enough we like seafood and pasta so we ordered it again along with a couple medium prime rib orders. The smell of prime rib when we entered the restaurant made us place these orders, it looked great walking by the kitchen too. Disappointment beyond belief, again no crab or shrimp to be seen. We commercial fish so we know what crab & shrimp look like. Not only those dishes but our two prime rib orders came very much overcooked, not a bit of pink to them. Again we told our waiter and he then asked the manager in that evening to come talk with us and she did but trying to make it right this time wasn't satisfactory. With much time in between our visits why would we have such luck, they must serve this dish daily without the seafood. The prime rib being served obviously overcooked was so disappointing when we could've gone down the street to a good old faithful steak house. The baked potatoes were even dried out and overcooked, how'd they do that?!?! The service was even disappointing since we were there celebrating two birthdays and at the end of our disappointing dinner we weren't even offered dessert. Back in the day this place was always a great place to go but having two bad experiences in a row made us want to go elsewhere and spend our money for better service and food. Like I mentioned above we rather go down the street to a very good steak restaurant that never disappoints. It's really sad to have good memories of an old favorite restaurant and see it go downhill. We've decided not to waste our time and money on a memorable restaurant but go down the street to an old faithful restaurant. Gave them two stars because the view is nice!

Delicious! The cocktails were amazing. The mojitos are refreshing and the smoked bourbon is smooth. The cider brandy salmon and almond crusted scallops were prepared perfectly and delicious!

What a delicious dinner and lovely views. Thank you for being attentive to all the details, and very considerate about a dairy allergy for one of our guests. We look forward to our next visit!

Recommended by a friend, our party of three made reservations to this old-school swank joint overlooking Knik Arm, Point Mackenzie and the distant mountains. We lucked out that the sun was setting, so the views were extraordinary. Pros: Service was outstanding - extremely helpful & friendly. The dining manager even spent time with us post-meal to catch up with us and make sure we were happy. We were! All our meals were delicious (with a couple caveats below), and we left full and happy. A group around the corner got married in the midst of service (why not? The view was amazing!) but our overall experience was fantastic. We ordered Tipsy Clams, Miso Black Cod, Crab-stuffed Halibut and a kids' menu grilled salmon. For dessert, we feasted on Baked Alaska, because... well, it IS the signature dessert of the state after all! Medium-level: I was a little surprised that the draft beer list was pretty short, but there were a couple good options. Cocktails were fine, espresso machine was down. Wine list was ok, but stuck in the past. We had a bottle of Trimbach Riesling which was well-priced but this place would really shine with a wine list overhaul. Cons: Unfortunately, my vegetable (grilled bok choy) was very tough and difficult to eat, but I asked for a steak knife which helped. My friend's halibut was burned on the bottom too, a disappointment since she would otherwise have gobbled up the entire piece. Honestly though, a couple bad bites in an overall wonderful meal could hardly ruin our experience! Thanks to Kelsey our server as well, when some parts of our meal were slow for whatever reason (possibly the wedding!) she came over and reassured us that we hadn't been forgotten. She was a great server, and our host and the rest of the staff worked well together and they were all very friendly.

Great location, view and ambiance! There were 3 options of Halibut and am very familiar with this fish and ways to prep and eat it. I asked the waiter for the best first experience option with my background of knowing fish. Had the halibut cheeks and it wasn't that great. Decent flavor but wouldn't order again. I'll definitely go back and try something different though.

This is the best traditionally appointed bar with fantastic view of Cook Inlet. The seafood is incredible and their staff are top notch!

Excellent experience. It was our anniversary and they had rose pedals on our table and gave us a crème brûlée for desert. They were unable to fulfill our request for a window seat, but that's okay and they even acknowledged with an apology that they were unable to give us that seating. Starters a clam chowder and Caesar salad. The best clam chowder we've ever had including our own, the Caesar salad just right. We ordered seared Alaskan black cod and grilled seafood trio. Everything cooked to perfection nothing was over cooked. They know what they're doing. Service was good too
