I absolutely LOVE eating and ordering food from here…I HATE that they are NEVER open during their “hours of operation” though. Hours are always posted for each day and every time I try to call to place an order or if I take the extra trip all the way over here they’re closed. So sad because they literally have the best Hispanic food in town hands down. Just a shame :(

We got decided to check out this place on the way to Denali but turns out it was Polynesian food not Caribbean food. Left disappointed.

It’s not Sunday’s Caribbean food place no more. It’s a Samoan place. If you called and ask if it’s Sunday’s place they will lie and yes it is knowing damn well it’s a different food place with different owner.

Awesome spot tucked away off Muldoon Rd! Delicious entrees (get a combo to try a few), the owners/staff clearly care about their product and customers, and very inexpensive for Anchorage. We dropped in from out of town and will definitely make our way back next time around. And the "pancakes" were delicious!Their suite is tucked on the north side of the building, not easily visible from the road so make sure to drive around the lot if you don't see it immediately - well worth it.

We stopped by Sunday's for the first time this evening...and we are so glad we did. Having lived in South Florida, and being from the Caribbean, this place reminds me so much of Miami, small family owned business with outstanding customer service, very delicious Caribbean food, and very friendly and welcoming staff. The owner was super cool and really knowledgeable and very down to earth. This evening we had the Chicharron, the J*** Chicken Sandwich, the cream of corn, and the spiced Pumpkin cake for takeout???. Ohhh soooo delicious!! We will return here for sure for round two!?

BEWARE: this business has a spotty track record of honoring online orders through the usual places, namely: Doordash. I had a driver come to my house empty handed after they couldn't get into Sunday's...after Sundays confirmed the order. This happened TWICE to me. Well, third time's a charm, I guess. We got the J*** Chicken (which is a sandwich, BTW) and the Ropa Veija (shredded beef served with beans, rice, and maduros (ripe plantains)) Both were very tasty! This is very unique food for Anchorage, or even the entire state of Alaska for that matter. It had a nice mix of prickly spice and estery fruit flavors, just as Caribbean food should! Give them a shot! But, I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing DoorDash, and calling them up to make sure they are open for pickup. I can't stress enough how inaccurate their online hours/availability seem to be.
