This place became a home away from home during a long work trip. I was in charge of about 25 ppl and we regularly went over to have some drinks and food. We hit all the attractions. Trivia, poker, burlesque, and karaoke. The bartender Jo was always welcoming and took care of all of us like family. My company regularly come to Anchorage, and The Broken Blender is our new hot spot. You've got our business as long as Jo is there. Al was pretty cool too. Always a homie. Highly recommend the cheese sticks too, and the garlic aioli sauce.

This is my Cheers. They are so kind and refreshing. I'm thrilled to be there any time and for any of their special events. Their selection of beers and beverages is wonderful and I love grabbing their amazing food. Join them on your next time downtown. Their service team is amazing. You will be lucky to join them.

went to trivia night with some friends and they charged my friend a 25% "large party" auto gratuity on 2 drinks. There were three of us at the table. when the bar tender was confronted and the manager was asked for the bar tender was the manager and she said she did that on purpose. She purposefully made a friend charge on her card. we will NEVER go back there.

One of my favorites. Probably "qualifies" as a dive bar, but that may send an incorrect image of this gem.The staff is awesome, twenty four "on Tap" selections. A lot of hard liquor choices, but if it requires a blender--refer to its name--if it requires a blender... "they're out of that."Salmon/steak bowls, burgers and wings, etc.My first choice when dining out.Love this place!

Great locals dive bar with a large selection of beer. It has indoor and outdoor seating, and is a nice alternative to the swanky restaurants and tourist bars downtown.

Local dive bar with weekly events! Check them out for one or their poker or trivia nights. Sunday afternoon trivia as well! Loved the loaded tots. Had that as a hearty meal on a rainy day and it really did the trick. Staff was busy but very attentive and friendly. Start a conversation and they will really open up!

Sitting at the Bar and ordered a popular draft beer on July 3rd (Holiday weekend) and they ran out literally half way through my glass. Rather than saying "drink on this until we get the keg changed out" (no more beer) , it literally just sat there under the tap. I also asked 4 "FOUR" times for a menu and never got that either. CRAP service and this restaurant won't last long just like everyone else that been there with the staff that they have. . Go to F street and deal with the snobby bartenders and at least get service and beer.

Service was great! Live music provided by a young man. Not too loud. We really enjoyed the spicy aioli. Were not expecting the raw salmon. Would have preferred it cooked.

Had 2 local beers here, both delicious. Bartender was lovely to chat with for a bit. Place was a bit divey and could use a bit of a scrub down, but overall cool vibe. It was across from our hotel, so easily accessible.

Checked this place out for the last time. Horrible service, overpriced typical bar food, and a group of extremely DRUNK poker players. Is this place a restaurant/bar or an adult day care/group home?

While downtown we stopped in here to try something new. Around noon-ish on Saturday. There was 2 other people in the building and us. After a few moments the bartender dropped us off two menus and let us know the drinks are listed on the tv. Having looked at the menu online I was looking forward to the pork belly sliders. They no longer serve those. After about ten minutes of no one acknowledging us we decided to try somewhere else downtown.

Tried nachos, so sorry. Tried mac/cheese/bacon, not to bad. Overpriced for the food and service.

Can’t say I would recommend. It felt very amateur and not “burlesque” at all. It felt more like a mix of creative or expressive dance and a strip show… especially since they encourage guests to throw dollar bills at the dancers. Less classy then I expected for sure. Also, the food was $69 for two breakfast orders, two mimosas, + a cinnamon roll. Mind you the dishes were served a la carte, there were no sides for the biscuits and gravy or the eggs benedict. Each plate costed $18 a plate and they came out cold. I was bummed and we left mid show. I would not recommend at all. Really expensive for low quality show.

Loved the show and had a delicious margarita! We were here for a bachelorette party and were able to reserve front row seats! All good fun here, the dancers and host were all wonderful and unique.
