I ordered a gift basket, thinking that if I used a local small business that it would be delivered in Anchorage in a timely fashion. Instead, 8 days later, it has still not been delivered. When I called to check on it, I was told someone would call me back. It's been two hours and no call. I am very disappointed.

Neat little shop downtown with some amazing loose leaf tea. There are so many cool little nicnacks as well for those tourists.

After the Fur Rondy, we dropped by this nice and cozy store to get warm.We found a little cafe in the back of the store and decided to try it.First we were thinking of grabbing hot chocolates but there were also some nice looking doughnuts in the show window. So we ordered the vanilla and fireweed old fashioned ones. The vanilla one was good and tasted fresh so it must have been made that day.The fireweed one was unique and slightly spicy aftertaste but also good and we would recommend it as it is unique to Alaska. The cafe itself is not big and if you visit for afternoon tea time, it might be difficult to find a table but if you stay nearby, you can enjoy their drinks and doughnuts at your hotel as you can get it to go. But be warned, if you try to take a hot drink out in winter, a few minutes it will be cold.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair friendly it has very small aisles and there are lots of breakable objects that you may bump trying to go through.

It's a very cramped place, you have to be careful. You may accidentally drop and break something. But there are many beautiful materials. There are different types of tea, you can taste them. When you enter the door, the fragrant smell of tea greets you.

I literally come here at least once per week. The coffee shop in the back is the absolute best. They make the best donuts I have ever had and if Ryan made cinnamon rolls make sure to get one. Their house blended Samovar tea gets shipped around the world because it is so good. And the store itself has all sorts of really cool things.

Selection of fun gifts, some clothing items, and sweet treets. They have quite the selection of quality in-store made teas. At the back of the store is a bakery with freshly made pastries and donuts as well as soups and sandwiches. A few seats are available for dine in, and takeout is also available. The service has always been friendly, and they are eager to help you fulfill your shopping endeavor. Kobuk is always a must stop for me when I'm in Anchorage.

Best gift shop in the city. Don’t bother with the gimmicky tourist trap shops, Kobuk has it all and then some, AND tons of local artists, authors, and stuff that’s homegrown Alaskan. Staff is super friendly and down to earth awesome and helpful.

Super cute gift store with great local tea! They have all kinds of unique gifts. I love their black orange tea. It's a small shop that has a cafe in the back. It was closed when we there. Parking is on the street. Staff were very friendly. Cost was normal for gifts/souvenirs. They have free tea to try and it's delicious!

We were in town at Anchorage brewery and a couple we met strongly recommend we try this spot before we left, specifically the fireweed . The next morning we checked online and it said they opened up at 12pm. Assuming because of the winter hours ? Nonetheless, we had breakfast elsewhere but right at noon we went in and it did not disappoint. Although it was at noon they did not have a lot left over so not entirely sure if the online hours were correct at that point. We ordered 3 old fashioned but only 2 were left so we decided on the fireweed. Fireweed was by far the best flavor I've ever had ! I was told it was on the sweeter side which is why it was not my first option but I'm so glad I got to try it. It's the perfect amount of sweetness and not overpowering. Definitely will come back to this spot if ever in town again. Totally recommend.
