My first time here.......I found a local pub with a band playing that night.....all locals.....I was an outsider......but was COMPLETELY treated like a local....just your local dive bar........ but VERY FRIENDLY staff .....and locals

It's an excellent bar atmosphere that offers pool and even $3 shots. I had an Apple Pie shot with my beer and the flavors blend. The bouncers are good at recognizing drunk behavior and do their job on point. It's an excellent trade if you don't like downtown Anchorage.
