Umami. Had the Dark Horse one of the best meals I’ve ever had. A memory maker. Waiter was attentive as well as professional. A well run kitchen is a huge part of the meal. Definitely a do again
Food and drinks were good, but if you aren’t into eating pork, your options are pretty limited. Our server was nice and our food came out quickly. I enjoyed the vibes of the restaurant, but my husband was not the biggest fan of the “hipster” feel.While this isn’t W&R’s fault, parking in downtown Anchorage is horrible and walking several blocks to and from your vehicle feels quite unsafe due to the number of homeless individuals who are very obviously high or intoxicated...read full review

I will start off by saying I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! I went to whiskey and ramen on a Monday night and I would say they were fairly busy. We did not have a reservation but only had to wait about 5 minutes. We were sat in very comfy seats in the whiskey bar, a mellow atmosphere.
