I enjoyed my stay here with my parents. We had a cottage with joining rooms. It was nice to have a patio area outside and the river running behind the cottage. Everything seemed clean and the staff was very kind. Only complaint was the breakfast buffet located in the main resort building was expensive and not very good.

While the cabins are a nice touch our room had hair in the tub, the previous guests dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain rod, the previous guest damp shower towel on the back of the door. Makes me concerned about if the sheets were even changed before they rented it to us. If you care about cleanliness go else where. No to mention the food prices at the restaurant is wildly wildly higher than every other place around. The food is good but no where near that good.Rooms: DirtyFood & drinks: Aggressively over priced

The resort looks a little different from how it appears in photo. The beds are not very comfy, spring beds. Room is big and its like a private hut. They provide fridge and microwave oven. Nice and comfortable stay. However, beware the heater is quite old and not easy to operate. Also, there are some ventilation openings not easy to handle and allow butterflies inside if kept open. They do allow early check in if the room is ready. Overall, its a good place to stay. I highly recommend.

Great service. After picking up our luggage at the airport, we called for a shuttle and they were here within 10 minutes. The staff was helpful. They have a shuttle for anywhere. The rooms are cottages, we were right by the river. Great place to stay in Fairbanks.

Had a great experience here. The units are stand alones so you don't hear noise from neighbors. You can park your car in front of the unit, so it's like a mini home away from home. By no means are units new, so if you are looking for super clean new looking rooms, these are not for you. It's very conveniently located near the airport and shopping. The room has a fridge and microwave oven for those wanting to take home food from a restaurant to eat later. Definitely recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are really cute and comfortable. They have a shuttle service that will take you to a few destinations with nice drivers. Would have liked if the shuttle would go to the Pump House as regular stop (they will if they have availability) because this restaurant is not too far, and is a well spoken-about hot spot. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Rooms were decent, but the wi-fi was absolutely abysmal

We came here for an early dinner. We live in Fairbanks, so we didn't stay at the hotel. Food was flavorful. Service was a little slow. Prices were better than expected. We will give them another try and see how it goes.

Good basic accommodation cabin style. My only issue was that we had a connecting door with another cabin and it was unbearably noisy. We could hear every word in the other cabin from the minute they woke up to the time they went to bed. Suggest you specifically request your room/cabin to NOT be a connecting one. Breakfast was good. Stayed as part of a tour group.

Such a cute place! Ended up being the cheapest place in town, even though it was so precious. Cabins on the Chena river. Restaurant on the premises too. Very well taken care of, clean. The manager was so nice- let us extend our check out for an hour.Thank you for a great stay!Rooms: Well managed. Clean. Efficient. Patios!Walkability: On the Chena River, walkable path.

I had to stay an extra day because I got covid. We left for home the next day. The driver was nice and helpful, but the front desk needs to work on customer service. I had to call them today, because I have to file an insurance claim, and the receptionist asked me "what are you complaining about " then she said you don't have to raise your voice to me. I asked for manager and got the same attitude. The cabins were ok. Out in middle of nowhere. One restaurant to eat at. Would not have been my choice, but that is where the tour company put us. They definitely need to work on customer service.

This is a lovely setting with small cabins. The setting was very nice and the staff was excellent and eager to please. However, we had no hot water in the cabin on our second day, the internet was among the world’s slowest, and the air conditioner blew cold air directly onto one of the beds. I won’t be staying there again.

This hotel/resort has the potential to be nice but the management staff is terrible. The GM, Lisa, and others at the top level are very unfriendly and not hospitable. The working staff tried to be friendly and do their jobs well but were limited by management. The on site restaurant, Alaskan Chena Grill, was excellent with well trained friendly staff. The food was great. This hotel/resort lives on the gravy train of the cruise lines that bring passengers to Fairbanks and basically dumps them without transportation to any local sites.

These cabins are clean and comfortable with 2 queen beds and a nice cathedral ceiling. There was a birch tree in the front and a private patio in the back of ours.We were facing the parking lot and not the river. The front desk and the shuttle service was great.
