We took the free shuttle to the brewery from the cruise port area and can easily say this was the best part of Juneau and a highlight of the entire cruise. Taking the free shuttle and talking to the shuttle driver was amazing. It was basically a free cruise excursion. The shuttle driver was a local who knew everything about the area and was a breath of fresh air from all the touristy cruise port nonsense.Once we arrived at the brewery we had a great time. I'm not a seafood eater, so when my wife and daughter went to Tracy's King Crab Shack...I took my other 2 daughters to Alaskan Brewing Co for probably the best burger I've had in a long time.

Nice place to visit for some drinks and souvenirs. Most of the beer were great but I would personally stay away from the fruity ciders. They have an outdoor seating out back and some food trucks just on the otherwise of the building.
