Bummer this isn't claimed but maybe that's why it's a GREAT stop right before work! In Foodland and across the street from Federal Building. Easy breezy to pull into parking lot and grab coffee. There was two amazing baristas that learned my order quickly and the next couple days hooked me up with extra whipped cream! They were lovely. We tried a couple coffee stops (some that let us stay in car during snow storm) and we decided that this was our favorite. The coffee is awesome with the extra hospitality = worth it!

This business is Not customer friendly. When I asked where the restroom was the employee said it was closed. I asked where do the employees use the restroom. He said, didn't say it was broken, it's closed. Fellow tourists and travelers be aware.

We were a party of 6. No tables for 6 available so we moved 2 tables together. Manager raced out from behind the counter telling us not to move her tables....so we left them where they were. The manager was very abrupt and rude. I even apologized for the table mix up and all I got was a grunt.Washrooms were untidy and one of the males in our group reported a toilet was running in the male Washroom. She went to look and then closed all the Washrooms while she made a call to a plumber ....very loud, very rude, very much demanding.Hopefully she was just having a bad day but as visitors to the town she certainly didn't make us feel welcome.

I recently visited heritage and unfortunately, I had a terrible experience due to the unfriendly staff. As soon as I walked in, I was met with a cold shoulder and a lack of greeting. It was as if I was an inconvenience to them. They were out of some sort of coffee item, that I wasn't even planning on order. Then a woman who I later found is named Taylor told me to get out, and that the drink I wanted wasn't available.I sat down and was planning on finishing my coffee and leaving, a different blonde woman walked up to me and told me to get out because they closed soon. She seemed extremely annoyed that I wasn't able to read her mind and know their closing schedule, I of course left. Half an hour later I walked by heritage again, and they were still open.I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this cafe. The unfriendly staff made for an uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone, as the lack of customer service and unfriendly staff ruined what could have otherwise been a pleasant or Indifferent experience.

Enjoy the peace now. Cruise ships coming soon. Overpriced like most coffee shops, of course, and the baked goods are dry, but this is Alaska, something about the flour I'm thinking. Great view of the dawn out of the large window.

Next to Iga, it's an easy place to go to grab a coffee. The people working there are very nice. The coffee was good. We didn't try any of the food. There's wifi. But it was not waou, the place is not really attracting, and there's way too much plastic.
