Friendly, laid back, excellent food. Pasta, pizza, and bread made in house. You can tell.

Tasty and interesting menu. Very creative. The wood-fired, roasted, gluten-free cauliflower stole the show. There were some misses. The desert was odd and much too salty. The truffle on the risotto had no flavor - blindfolded, I would have had no idea there were truffles in the dish. The staff didn’t seem highly conscious about allergies. This restaurant is probably unsafe for celiacs.

Busy. Difficult to hear the staff. Some wait staff were super friendly, others a bit standoffish. Food was very good quality. Only minor complaint was the cheese bread (Thunderdome). Just a mess to eat. Bread not cut. Melting whipped butter all over the place. Don't get me wrong, delicious, but I'd never order again but who wants melted butter all over their hands/clothes. Next trip to Juneau will return. It's worth the wait (except the Thunderdome butter bath).

The food is one of the best Italian dishes I've had. I've been in Italy and I miss the food so much. However, in In Bocca Al Lupo I've found a good Italian dishes. I go there often, at least twice a week and the flavors are always delicious.

Y'all. The Salmon with Shells dish is incredible!!! It's my hands down favorite at Al Lupo. The creaminess of the cheese, richness of the salmon and then the pasta.. oh my. A perfect meal out in Juneau for consists of the Thunderdome for an app, followed by The Juneau greens salad & this delicacy as my main course. The only thing that makes the food even better is the eclectic ambiance of Al Lupo & their impeccable service.

Food surpassed anything I've experienced in Juneau and was as good as anywhere I've eaten in Anchorage or Seattle. Service & presentation were great. Everything I tried was totally creative & delicious. Was a bit loud with the house full but nothing that a little creative sound proofing couldn't take care of. Definitely a 5 star restaurant.

I happened into this spot tonight. As a lifelong Alaskan, I feel I can safely say that restaurants that have more than one item on their menu that is truly amazing are few and far between. Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 whose entire menus are devine, with In Bocca al Lupo being one of them. While I did not eat everything on their menu this evening, I am damn sure going to try every chance I get when I come to Juneau. This evening I did have their garlicky caesar salad and spaghetti pomodoro with meatballs. The salad was perfectly dressed and seasoned. The pasta has a wonderful flavor that just tastes like comfort when you take a bite. I've been to many restaurants that boast homemade pasta in my time and have found most of them to be lackluster. Here, the pasta has that true al dente texture with great flavor and non of that cakey-heaviness that often comes with homemade pasta. You can't go wrong with this little gem of a restaurant!

One of the best restaurants in Juneau. Feels like a fancy restaurant with reasonable prices (in Seattle this place would be much more expensive).Only complaint is the 2-top tables are very close to each other - about 8" from each other, so it doesn't feel very private. You hear your neighbors' conversation and they hear yours. Except they turn the music up pretty loud so sometimes it's hard to even hear each other.

Warm but sophisticated vibe, welcoming and responsive service, and excellent food. We had meatballs, cauliflower, spaghetti, rigatoni, and a couple of pizzas. All were truly excellent - outstanding ingredients cooked with love, attention, and subtlety. They make their own pasta, and it shows. But I left the best for last - I'm not usually a bread pudding guy, but was talked into it and WOW! Stands to reason that a restaurant that's also a bakery during the day and is known for its sourdough would have good bread pudding. But I wasn't prepared for about the most perfect, scrumptious bread pudding I've ever had.

After reading the NY Times article on “50 restaurants in the US that we are excited about in 2023” I promptly made a reservation for two on October 17 Tuesday 2023 since we were stopping over in Juneau, and we were excited about the prospect of eating well. Service was a lot to be desired. We were served by multiple servers, and It was inconsistent from server to server. We ordered Lupo Sourdough, Wood Fired Hot Cauliflower, Spaghetti Pomodoro and Margherita pizza. They were mediocre at best and sometimes I wonder about the tastebuds of reviewers. Don’t plan to stopover in Juneau in the future or this eatery.

4 people eating 3 dishes tonight. Pasta and the bread pudding were fantastic as was the Thunderdome (use the whipped Parmesan). The service was also amazing. The sauces were pretty good and are the only reason it didn't get the top score. Definitely worth it. Make
