This is my husband and I's go-to dinner spot. The food is always so flavorful and delicious. Service has always been good. No complaints from us! Their coconut shrimp curry is divine and my absolute favorite, for anyone looking for a recommendation.

Loved this place and it's always packed so you know it's goooooood! Make a reservation to make sure you can get in. I wanted something with kick and they delivered, but there's still room to crank it up. I wish they offered levels of spice and let the customer decide their fate. Excellent service, food, atmosphere. I just loved everything. Por potions are adequate for what you're paying and we had leftovers for two more meals. Next time I'm diving into the Naan a little more.

We ordered what seemed like everything on the menu and ate family style. The Tara's were so helpful with ordering and mindful one our one person with food allergies knowing what everything was Pork vindaloo, chicken butter tikka, the special of the night, spinach and chicken, something with chick peas.... 3 chutneys, naan, and masala chai! It was all spectacular. Even with 4 of us and ordering the small portions we had so much left overs. If you're in town I guarantee you will love SPICE!

Probably because it’s in a tourist area but service was very slow even though there were only couple customers.Bit expensive but portions are pretty large so don’t order too much to start with.Food taste is okay.

I adore Spice, the food is always well made and delicious. The spicyness levels vary and I'm happy that some dishes remain accessible for this who can't handle spicy things (like me!) While still having dishes that tackle higher spicyness preferences. The staff are always quite nice and helpful, and often I only see one wait staff for the whole floor so I know they must be stretched thin. A little patience goes a long way.My only real gripe with the restaurant is how they handle their masala chai. It's delicious, thick and creamy, but wildly inaccessible for someone on a budget. $8.50- I know you get two (a free refill) but I often only need one. I've also been told that I can't get the free refill to go- which is absurd.Regardless I will continue being a patron, just know you'll be in to spend so money on some high quality food!

A well-rounded menu of Indian dishes. I like the lunch offering where you get two dishes with accompaniments. Otherwise, the full menu is offered lunch and dinner with all dishes ala carte.

While the ambience is nice, service is shoddy. Flavors are missing, though ingredients seemed fresh. Seems like they know how to cook Indian food but choose not to. They didn’t ask a spice level preference, and the food was blander than white bread.

The waitress was extremely rude to us. We had asked for a chai and she brought it out in one second. It takes 5 minutes to make chai. When we asked how it came so fast she said that they had chai in thermoses ready to serve. We were shocked. This is like saying instead of making a fresh latte , mixing milk and espresso together and keeping it in a thermos then serving it. Also when we complained she started gaslighting us. Terrible service and terrible food.

When you walk past this restaurant, you should be able to smell the lovely spices (hence the name) of the food being prepared and hear the live music playing inside the restaurant. This place is amazing to go to for dates or family dinners/lunches because of the shareability of the food and being able to try small amounts of everything! In general, the food tastes great and is a nice place to go to for Asian food in the middle of Juneau that doesn't center around seafood. However, their protein in their food is quite small (we got 3 little pieces of paneer in our masala and 2 chicken in another) and it was quite expensive for these curries as well. The owners and waiters were very kind though and helped us decide on what curries to get though, and they made very good decisions!Overall, it was a great experience to go to (I had dinner with my boyfriend's family) with the live music, but I don't know if I'd go too often if I was a local.

We made reservations for 4 of us for dinner and had a super cute booth in a nook. The menu has an extensive selection and the food was excellent. We had a great time!

I went first time in my 3 months of stay to try something different but I feel like why I went there… I ordered dosa and they gave coconut chutney with onion… who put onions in coco chutney. I order paneer pakoda and taste was bland. No taste at all.. wasted too much

Very clean and beautiful interior. The custom blown glass lights were intriguing. Food choices were good and the wait staff were patient and helpful. Half portions were plenty for a light dinner. Many vegetarian options and all main entrees were gluten-free.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free entrées.

After living in multiple large, metropolitan cities and having eaten at many, many restaurants that serve Indian food or Indian-inspired food, I can say hands down that Spice serves up some of the best Indian food I have ever had, with authentic flavors, clearly made from scratch and with care. The naan is a different style than we are accustomed to, perhaps made with a different type of flour with less gluten but still tasty. Overall, this was the best meal, by far, that we had during our week-long stay in Juneau. I only wish they were open on Sundays so I could go back for more!!! So, so delicious.Vegetarian options: The palak paneer was super good, and used cashew instead of heavy cream to create a rich dish that wasn't overly heavy.
