This is the perfect place to grab some food or a drink to go if you find yourself at Juneau’s cruise port. It’s in such a convenient location, right across from the Goldbelt Tram. We stopped here to grab some lunch after doing the Gastineau Peak hike and before going whale watching. I enjoyed their turkey pesto mozzarella wrap, and their banana bread was deliciously moist.

I ordered an ICED white mocha and everything was fine. Then the barista brought it to me as a hot drink. I told her that I had ordered it iced and apparently that upset her. She slammed the ice cooler and poured the hot mocha into a cup with the ice and then gave it to me with a sour look on her face, without saying anything. The drink wasn’t very cold because she took a completely warm drink and placed it in a little ice.I didn’t think the attitude was needed- she could have made the adjustment without it.Disappointing because usually the staff are nice but it seems like I got the wrong barista today.

I have been going to all of the Grind locations for quite sometime. Not sure what has happened, but recently the service just outright sucks. The attitude, attention to detail, and the professional appearance of the baristas is awful. I wanted to reach out to the owner directly, but the brunette at Jessine (which looked like she had not washed her hair in two weeks), refused to give me the owner's contact information. This would have saved a bad review. I don't want to talk to the manager; I wanted to speak with the owner. The owner deserves to know how the employees working are running the business into the ground. I would want to know. I do not want to see bellies hanging into my coffee drink. I do not want to have to ask to use the discount punch card--you should ask me, if its not implied that YES, I WANT TO USE THE FREE DRINKS THAT I HAVE EARNED BY PURCHASING MANY. I don't want to have to repeat three times that I want whipped cream on my drink because you're too busy playing on your phone to listen to my order to begin with. Two locations in two days. All different girls, all really horrible experiences. I will never be back, and I plan to share my experience with everyone that will listen. The employee let me know that she is "not allowed" to give out the owner's contact information as she tells me how busy she is (I am the only car in line at 5:20AM) while she sloppily drinks her 32 ounce spritzer and plays on her phone all while looking like she woke up 2 minutes ago with her messy hair and outfit. Avoid this place, all locations. The Jessine location used to run with just one person in the AM and she was a badass, could do it all. Two baristas and they can't even get an order right, take appropriate payment, or show up to work looking somewhat professional.

Tasty sweet coffee at a decent price. We were greeted with friendly faces even after a not so friendly customer in front of us. I got a coconut mocha, iced and it was the best!

Solid Americano for a reasonable price. Fast service too. I needed a warm drink and this hit the spot.

Staff friendly. The tasty flavor of the day was a birthday cake coffee. It was delicious! They did run out of pastries that afternoon, but I am sure it was good .

I’ve been away for 3 months and 2 different baristas this week still remembered my drink! They’re always so friendly, I couldn’t wait to go for my coffee! I go to the stop by Costco. Thanks, girls! Always perfect!
