Adorable spot. One of the most unique, memorable, delicious chowders I've ever had. Can't wait to try the hot dogs. UPDATE: The hot dogs are amazing.

Stopped for a quick bite. The chowder was excellent. The sausage (reindeer w Kimchee) was unique and fantastic. Kudos to the chef. And service was nice and came with good local ideas for us.Kid-friendliness: Chowder is definitely kid friendly. Kim chee might be a little spicy for a kid. (Depends on the kid)Environment is certainly kid friendly.

Best(and as I know only) hot dog place in seward that may have stuck around after the 4th fest. Still trying to get there as much as I can because they close up.

Went by on a whim and had the smoked cod chowder. It was amazing I would highly recommend it.

Amazing local food found in an alley between the shops. The chowder is amazing, lightly sweet with brown butter. We also had the kimchi reindeer hot dog and the Seattle dog - all local meat and ingredients. Worth a stop if you are looking for something yummy and quick!

Loved it! We were in Seward for couple days & put our rain gear on & toured the town! Walked the harbor & window shopped in town! Such a cute area. We saw this food truck that had soup ! Decided that was great for rainy day. We had the seafood chowder & “the basic bitch” (reindeer sausage) Both were delicious! You can take the food into some of the bars, but there was a gazebo across the street & we ate there.

Their chowder is the best thing I've had in a long time. If you love tarragon you'll love it!! Nice people too!

Delicious chowder and venison with alternative rice options as well!
We LOVEd Wild Spoon! As fellow Culinarians we truly appreciate the creativity and love that goes into this delicious food! We had the blueberry brat, the beet reindeer, the buffalo burger, and the venison sandwich. We did a little sampler platter to get to try them all! I couldn’t decide which was my favorite they were all soooo good! The nice ladies running the food truck said we must try the chowder, so we sampled that too! Not your typical thick creamy chowder, more brothy and light, with a hint of ginger which paired perfectly with that black cod. Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Seward! Keep on crushing it!
