This was a great find if you're in Soldatna, AK. Closest to Tex-Mex I've found in Alaska. Nice people and attentive service make a great combo and a spectacular view. Nice touch is the self-serve salsa bar. Truly always a nice experience. Supposedly the the owners are from Acapulco, Mexico henceforth the name.

Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, food was bland. Why is there no flavor in Mexican food?

It's hard to find good tasting Mexican food in Alaska, but this is one of the better tasting places I've been too. I ordered a burrito deluxe smothered in green instead of red. My only gripe is that the green sauce wasn't spicy enough for my liking.

I had lunch here with my daughter and her boyfriend. Good food. I enjoyed it. It was a bit crowded the day we stopped by for lunch as we're passing through Soldotna. FIVE STARS!

As a native Texan, I am admittedly a Mexican food snob. This food was really bland and I couldn't even figure out what flavors they were going for. It tasted very "off." I have arrived at the conclusion that the best Mexican food on the Peninsula is what I make in my own kitchen. Place was clean and service was good, though.

The meat tasted very off, and honestly pretty nasty. I got the carne asada enchiladas and they were not good at all.
