I think this place changed hands, kept the old name, but changed the recipes. Unfortunately, the donut recipes are just not as good as they were. If you preferred the previous Donut King donuts, go to Holey Moly Donuts instead, as it seems exactly like former Donut King in flavor. I absolutely love Café Rico! The empanadas are absolutely incredible - they are truly to die for. And the donuts? Oh my goodness, they are so fresh and delicious. I can't resist them! But what really sets this place apart is the owners. They are super awesome, welcoming, and friendly. Their warmth and hospitality make the whole experience even better.
