Decent enough food, but I find better Thai restaurants in town.

Walked in and was looked at by 4 workers who were not doing a thing sitting on their phones in the back and it still took forever to be approached and seated. Then took another while to get an order in and again forever to get any food out which wasn’t even what we went In for. Super expensive. Went back once more for a pick up order of one thing and it took forever again to be approached. Not wasting my time anymore highly suggest you try a different place. Food was not even worth any of it.never again.

It's about time that I give a review to my FAVORITE Thai place in town, probably even in Alaska! I come here all of the time with my boyfriend and it's so good every time. From the appetizers all the way to the desserts and drinks, there's a lot of love to go around. I personally love getting the gyoza, the flakiness is perfect and unlike any other place I've gone for gyoza. I get the rainbow roll too, and it's always a full/thick roll and is very filling.

People who give this place a bad review have no palette, the food was delicious and very generously portioned. Hands down best Thai Tea in Alaska and the service was great, they don’t hound you constantly and were quick to get the food to us. The sound of Thai being spoken in the kitchen while lo-fi music plays throughout the restaurant assures you that your food is authentic. 5/5 stars, would recommend their place to anyone wanting real Thai food.

I've been eating at Pattaya since they were in the clocktower mall; I've never had an off meal or experience in all those years.Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes can be made without meat added (minus meat broth soups of course) and a vast variety of vegetables. Fish sauce is used in a few sauces, they will answer any questions and help!Dietary restrictions: They have mungbean noodles for those who can't have rice or regular noodles.Every dish is prepared fresh so ingredients can be substituted easily and they graciously work with each request within their capabilities.Parking: They share a parking lot with Carrs, so plenty of parking optionsKid-friendliness: It's a family run business, with non fussy options for picky eaters. The decor and atmosphere is low-key and chill, no worries about kiddos breaking things or disrupting the place.

I ordered online for pickup and when I went inside the restaurant, I told one the employees I’m picking up an order. He looked at the order on my phone to confirm which was fine. He then walked off without saying anything, so I thought maybe he was grabbing them. After a few minutes, I followed up and it turned out my orders were “in the making.” It would’ve been fine had they updated me especially when I’m standing at the counter being ignored. The least they could’ve done was give a courtesy update, but disappeared and ignored my existence.
Not only was the Sushi and chicken fried rice excellent, the place also has a military discount.

Delicious food quick excellent service. The dining area is kind of dated but the chairs are nice. The people are very friendly. The food was delicious. Try the tofu, vegetable curry with red sauce. It is amazing.
