Had the duck and the surf and turf as well as two appetizers the Not so cheap Dates and Scallops. All were fantastic added in was a live musician made it a great date location. The desert was fantastic the espresso creme brulee was to die for and the peanut butter mudslide was so enormous my wife took half home.

This is one of only a couple fancy restaurants in the valley. Ideal for higher end business dinners, anniversary dinners, higher class date nights, treat yourself dinner, etc. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is superb. They have a nice drink selection if you choose to partake. They have a private room, but it requires a minimum purchase. Ask when you call to make a reservation.

Pretty good food, but price is a bit high and vegetarian options are slim.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian entree option; very heavy... Not a vegan option. The vegetarian option was ok, but if you are a vegetarian I'd suggest you spend less and have a better meal elsewhere. The service was excellent, the wine sampler was good and the atmosphere pleasant and fancy.

I’ve lived in Wasilla now for two years and haven’t eaten here once. WOW I’m blown away! This place was absolutely top notch. I cannot recommend this place enough. The filet mignon and lamb was the best I’ve ever eaten!!! A MUST for anyone looking for a date night experience! $$$

I have eaten here a few times and I've always been let down by the food. Aside from their grape tap greens salad which also happens to be the cheapest thing on their menu so don't waste your money on anything else. The salad is actually really good, although nothing more than greens with blueberries, granola, and dressing. The only reason I went back to grape tap recently was because I was given a $100 gift card (I still ended up spending an additional $80 for me and my two friends) we ordered a few dishes for the table to share. The $45 salad we got was nothing more than terrible. The chicken was so dry it was inedible. We were also baffled that the salad cost so much for minimal ingredients. The sliders were also very dry and hard to chew. The gnocchi was flavorless. The sauce was decent though. The crab brie dip was alright but not worth the price. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because when we expressed our concerns to the waitress we were given two free desserts for the table. I would have much rather had them deduct the terrible salad or give us a discount. The desserts were no better than the main dishes. We got the peanut butter mud pie and the brownie was so tasteless and dense that it couldn't be eaten. The creme brulee was flat and tiny.Just save a lot of money and skip grape tap.

Pic was taken not even a full 2 minutes after receiving my foodWalked to the car opened it and snapped the picPHOTO IS TAKEN IN PARKING LOT NOT EVEN 100ft FROM THE BUILDINGCalled ahead to ask how big lasagna was as it’s $48Was told “it’s a big pot”Got the $48 lasagna and it’s a slice smaller than my hand….AGAIN…PHOTO WAS IN THE PARKING LOT NOT AT HOME SO THATS NOT EVEN A 100 ft walkIt’s funny how your first instinct is to just place blame like oh sorry it didn’t look as good when you got home. This is in the parking lot…And that’s still doesn’t excuse $48 for a gritty lasagna sliceMaybe look into food quality instead of trying to blame every bad review. Can’t find a single bad review where you actually take accountability instead of blaming the reviewer.

I haven't been here for almost 5 years. This place is lovely. Great spot, lovely ambience and excellent service. The decor is elegant and although the space is small, it's classy and chic. We had a delicious dinner and great wine. The wine flights are spectacular. Fresh, delicious and refreshing food choices. Tip: ask to sit downstairs when you make a reservation. It's like a lovely wine cellar. Pretty touches throughout and sweet little "nooks" for conversation.

Look, this is a neat place - that it is in Wasilla is kind of incredible. What's also incredible are the friggin prices, especially in relation to the food. The atmosphere for date night is on point, but that doesn't make up for $50 lasagna that, honestly, isn't as good as a chain restaurant. I'm not trying to eviscerate the chef here, and maybe we got a bad night, but I'm not shelling out another two hundo to find out if it was a fluke. The steak tip appetizer was good, but for $28 it had better be. The rest of the fare was forgettable, and for good reason - the ingredients' pairings are not especially inspired, and their preparation is the nail in the coffin. Copious amounts of oil just weigh down both the lasagna and the gnocchi dishes, revealing both a lack of freshness in the ingredients (or hiding it) and muddling the flavor that should be there. It's a crying shame, TBH - there are a half dozen restaurants in ANC that annihilate this place in terms of food quality and for half the price. I would say more good things about the venue itself and the service, but why? You're not going here for conversation or ambience - it's the food, and on this most fundamental front, it was a loss for me.
