When you are close to one of the oldest bars in Alabama you are obliged to stop in for a pint. What they lack in beer selection (don't get me wrong they had a beer for every taste on tap from sours to stouts) the make up for in atmosphere! Be sure to tour the whole building.
The grilled shrimp and rice pilaf were really plain. The onion petals were awesome, and the dipping sauce was bomb. I will definitely go back again. The chips for the nachos are house made. Make sure you request them. Make sure the cheese is heated. Last time, it was COLD, so instead, I was charged for the chips and salsa at $9. Kind of a bummer. It's usually really good.
