There aren't a lot of dining choices in Arley and La Plaza Bonita doesn't help the cause. We were the only diners in the restaurant at 5:30 on a Saturday. That should have told us something. We were greeted, seated and had the requisite chips and salsa in front of us in no time. The chips were on the thin side and very crisp, the salsa was flavorful and mild. It was a good start. We came in from hidden cove recommended. Surprisingly my hubby has never been to a Mexican restaurant (we are retired). He loved his burrito dish. I had the chimichanga grilled chicken and it was great.

Our recent experience at La Plaza Bonita Mexican restaurant was a bit underwhelming. The food, while not exceptional, had room for improvement. The server, while polite, could have been more engaging. Despite being one of a few patrons, we did notice a few tables with dirty plates, which was a bit disappointing. The small-town charm we had hoped for seemed a bit elusive. Overall, there's potential for improvement, and we hope the next visit exceeds expectations.
