This used to be our usual spot when we would be traveling. It used to be very busy, even with a wait it was fine. But every time we stop in, it's gotten a little bit worse. Last night was the last straw. There were only 2 people working. It was absolutely frigid in the restaurant. Upon asking about it, were told the managers lock the door to the office which is where the thermostat is located, so they were unable to make it warmer. Then, while ordering, the waiter started complaining about his jours completely unprompted. I get he's frustrated, but to blurt it out in the middle of writing down my kids orders is weird and unprofessional. He was so distracted by his own complaints he started to walk away before even getting to my order. Finally, the food arrives but he's disappeared and the poor cook is having to do everything. This might explain why some of the food was cold, but it tasted ok so I moved on. We paid and left only for the worst to begin a few hours later. The two in our party who ordered cheesesteak melts became very sick. I don't ever want to stop here again. To pay $53 before tip for terrible service and food borne illness? I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone else either.
