I love Waffle House everything was good once they got going. For some reason nobody was on the grill when I walked into the restaurant. I only gave 4 stars because of the wait it caused having both cooks off the grill. The server was great!
The wait staff need much improvement. We waited way too long for our coffee. Received it mere seconds before our food, while others, who came in after us, received their drinks quickly.They were much too busy socializing with each other to take care of their customers. Had to wait too long for coffee refills as well.Also, it's not very clean for a restaurant.The food was edible but definitely not amazing. Probably will not return.We decided to go back a couple of nights ago and were even more disappointed. We waited close to 15 minutes and were not even acknowledged that we were there. There was plenty of staff, but they were, once again, socializing with with other and not at all interested in us. We finally got up and left to go elsewhere. We will DEFINITELY NOT return!!!!

The food was undercooked. Really surprising when a grilled cheese looks like it barely touched a hot surface. The eggs and waffle was undercooked. It wasn't even busy. The waitress never brought something we ordered, but she was a very sweet woman. The bathrooms smelled like sewage covered in cigarette smoke.

I got off work late and stopped here for a bite to eat this evening. It was about 9pm. It seemed to be extremely busy as well as a shift change. So I waited patiently to get service. After 15 minute without someone even saying “hello” to me, I decided to leave. I understand people make mistakes, and no one is perfect, but I was very disappointed to the point of just not having dinner at all.
