My husband and I stopped here on a whim and are SO happy that we did. The wine is delicious (we ended up buying a case!) and as a bonus, the resident cat, Mr Mittens, is absolutely adorable. We 10/10 recommend visiting!

Met the winemaker, Tina. She was exquisite, and she shared her winemaking knowledge and history. Met the owners, and arguably, their history of the property and acquisition of the winemaking process was extremely interesting. Being former history teachers, we found it all quite interesting! We purchased our two favorites: the red table wine and their dessert port. We had them all sign our bottles because we take great pride in telling the “stories” behind our bottles from around the country! Can’t wait to visit in the spring!!!

Sweet & knowledgeable man that served us! He had a cool story & was personable.Free tastings if you will, so we easily devoured a bottle of their Reisling. We also ordered a platter & it was forgotten so…if you order food you might or might not get it- their loss because their platter plus another glass of wine I would have ordered… oh well. Still upset about it, but it was a beautiful winery, delicious wines & we will be back!

Very pretty natural beauty here. Tina was short staffed but did a great job serving everyone. We did the tasting inside and then enjoyed a glass in the lovely outdoor area out back overlooking the serene countryside. The raspberry zinfandel, holiday white (cranberry-apple), and coco cafe were our favorites. We came home with a bottle of each.

We stopped in and sampled some wine. They were all really good! Left with a bottle of Raspberry and Ruby Muscadine wine

I enjoyed my visit to Wills Creek! They have a great selection of wines to sample. My faves were the Amarone, Chocolate Coffee Port and the Pineapple Habanero! It was so relaxing to sit outside, with the lake and mountain views.

Great place to stop by or have some wine and cheese in front of the vineyard. The wine tastes amazing and amazing people running the shop and winery. Definitely going to stop by again!!

We stopped by here to get a couple bottles of wine. After wine tasting, we decided to sit down for Sunday brunch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved the atmosphere. We will definitely come back here again.I got Greek brunch which included veggie quiche, side salad and baklava. My husband got ham egg cheese croissant with the same sides.

My boyfriend and I found this place by accident, and I’m glad we did! The owner was so nice! We tried a few different kinds of wine and ended up going home with 2 bottles, one for me and one for him ? We’ll definitely stop by there the next time we’re in town!

I love visiting this winery when passing through. Enjoyed sitting on the deck, with wine, cheese and crackers.

This is one of the best wines I've ever had. The staff is so personable. We've been there 4 times in our way to and from FL to MD. Plus, it's a Harvest Host which makes it great when you drink wine, you can stumble to your camper.

Swiss man came to Huntsville for NASA & had a woman help him with his English, now his wife of over 50 years. Started this winery. They are planning to have monthly themed brunches. (Reseevations required.) Beautiful drive to this great spot on a lake. Great variety of wines. They started the Winery passport when other wineries didn't want to participate. Reasonably priced wines, local honey, & merch. A very friendly cat that will hop up on your table outside to enjoy the view with you. Summer you can pick Muscadine grapes (supposedly the cat will walk with you). You won't be disappointed!! Support local!!

Wills Creek Winery was out fifth stop along the North Alabama Wine Trail and was warmly greeted by hostess' Tina and Mittens. The wine selection was great and they had 3 different ports to choose from. (We bought 2,) Free tasting, clean restroom and business area, gift area, friendly staff, great wines and military and veteran friendly. They also ship! We will definitely be back!!!

Pleasantly surprised by this vineyard.I visited the establishment close to the New Year. The owner and host were very knowledgeable on each wine. The tasting area is quite small but the wine was well crafted. Its extremely rare that I enjoy a white or sweet wine in general. I purchased 3 bottles and a meat and cheese to go.They also offer a Sunday brunch and free wine classes. The vineyard is roughly 9 mins or so from the state park which is the perfect reward after a good . The owner is from Switzerland which adds an extra bit of authentic charm to the experience.
