Best kept food secret in the Auburn area. Insanely good prices for what you get. Great service, kind people, and some of the best food I've ever tasted.

Food is good. That's it.It took 54 minutes for our meal to be served. The restaurant staff stayed too busy finishing up take-away orders. Most Indian restaurants, off late, been practicing this trend. Don't care much about the dine-in customers. The dine-in customers will pay up anyway now that they are made waiting!!!Will never visit this place again.

I ordered the mixed vegetable curry with basmati rice. I was excited to find a vegan option on the menu. The mixed vegetable was pretty tasty despite the rice having a strand of hair. Customer service was not the best. Other customers were brought water to their tables although I entered the restaurant prior. Overall I give Bombay Grill a 5/10.

I have been calling and visiting Bombay for a week to sit down and eat and they either do not pick up or have a sign in the door saying “we will be closed today sorry for the inconvenience” does anyone know if they’ve closed for good or what’s going on??

I recently visited Bombay Grill and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the stews were truly exceptional. Each stew I tried was rich in flavor, with a perfect blend of spices that are characteristic of authentic Indian cuisine. The depth and complexity of flavors in the stews were impressive, showcasing the culinary skills in preparing traditional Indian dishes. However, there were several aspects of the restaurant that detracted from the overall experience. The most notable issue was the rice served alongside the stews. It was consistently undercooked, which was a significant letdown, especially considering how crucial well-prepared rice is to Indian cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant also left much to be desired. It lacked the warmth and inviting atmosphere one would expect, which could have enhanced the dining experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to standard. It's essential for dining establishments to maintain a clean environment, and unfortunately, this was not the case here.Another major drawback was the service. It was disappointingly slow and inattentive. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the service efficiently, leading to long wait times for both ordering and receiving the food.In summary, while the stews at Bombay Grill were undeniably delicious and a testament to authentic Indian cooking, the experience was marred by the undercooked rice, lackluster ambiance, cleanliness issues, and poor service. If these aspects were addressed, this restaurant could potentially offer a much more enjoyable dining experience.

I hate to have to make this review.I’ve been a long time customer of Bombay Grill. My family ate in there this week. The food tasted great as always. The atmosphere is terrible. It’s pretty dirty and in dire need of updates and repairs. That’s not the worst of it though. We found a beer bottle top in our rice. It was covered and packed with rice. Absolutely disgusting. We brought it to our waitresses attention and she apologized and took the rice off the bill. We were not looking for her to do anything else but because of this situation we will never be back.

I’ve been a regular customer for yearsssss! And pains me to give a bad review. They’re unorganized they were taking orders of people after us. THERE ISNT A RICE SHORTAGE!! Walmart, They give you a bowl full of food but not enough rice to finish your meal comfortably, it’s $5 for a SMALL plate of rice! If you get a meal it should be way less than that. The ONLY good employee is the bigger girl. She’s the absolute best person ever. But yeah that whole rice situation and the way we were served last time really hurt me. I’m bringing my own basmati rice next time. I literally find it everywhere I go for cheap. I know they don’t get their supply straight from India for them to blaming it on that

The Chicken Makhani with a side of mint chutney swirled in is top tier. Must try. Also the two sisters that work up front are so sweet! I love this place 10/10.
