Korean restaurant located in AuburnI ate jjamppong? and it tasted good. There was plenty of seafood, so it was delicious and filling. There is a huge variety of menus including Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food.?Shop Information. UMAMI1) Location: 2319 Bent Creek Rd Ste 400, Auburn, AL 368302) MenuA light Japanese food menu is available, including Korean, Chinese, salad, Japanese ramen, Jjambbong, pork cutlet, sushi, and sashimi balls. Many customers come for lunch and dinner.3) Umami is the Japanese word for umami.Perhaps because Japanese food is so popular in the United States, there are many sushi restaurants and Japanese restaurants run by Koreans. It is located near Sam's Club, Exit 57.It is a very crowded place during meal times as there are a lot of people visiting in secret.

Appetizer should be brought out together. Main courses should be brought out together. She brought out my appetizer and main course together. A few minutes later she brought my wife’s appetizer out and then brought her food out.

My companions, and I decided to try this Pan Asian restaurant. For appetizers we ordered the Eggrolls, Crispy Soft Shell Crab, and Pot Stickers. Our entrees were the Hambarrk steak, Seattle Teriyaki Chicken and cheese fried pork cutlet. The eggrolls were very good, and the traditional goyza dipping sauce added quite a bit of flavor. The potstickers were nicely filled, with a nice texture. That dipping sauce was also very good. The crispy softshell crab was covered in a tempura batter on a salad. There was a lot of salad, but the crab was very tasty and a nice size. The hambarrk steak was essentially a Salisbury steak. The french fries were home cut while this steak was covered in a gravy. My companion enjoyed it, but I didn't find it to be anything extraordinary. My other companion enjoyed the schnitzel, a.k.a. Cheese fried pork cutlet. It was a mystery why the word "cheese" was in the description since there was no cheese. It was, however, a very well fried schnitzel. My companion ordered it because it was noted as a "best seller" but after the meal was over, wondered why because it was not very "Pan Asian." Still, it was a very good schnitzel. The Seattle teriyaki chicken was very good and had a nice brown sauce. I'm not sure why it has Seattle in the name since teriyaki chicken would have been sufficient. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had a young lady and a young man who made certain that our glasses were full and that we didn't want for anything. The service was a little interesting in that the dishes came out one at a time instead of all at once. That seem to be the way the service went since I saw other tables get the same treatment. The menu is extensive with a number of sushi options, Korean staples and a number of noodle dishes. From the menu, it looks like you could go pretty hard-core in the seafood department. The restaurant is in a strip mall with a number of TVs on the wall running the usual Internet stuff. One TV was running animal videos, another was running, uplifting human stories, and another was running some K-pop videos. We arrived a little before seven and had no problem getting a table, but it definitely filled up quickly after 7 o'clock. The parking lot is shared with a number of restaurants so that may be an issue at peak times.

I ordered delivery tonight and I'm extremely disappointed. The miso ramen was flavorless and the toppings were minimal. I ordered an $8 side of seaweed salad and the portion is ridiculous! Barely half the container. Insane price for low quality food and tiny portions.

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. This restaurant had wireless pay (Applepay). I ordered the seaweed salad, drunken tofu, garden roll, and tofu Pad Thai. Everything was delicious. I asked the waiter if the food was vegan, and they were transparent and asked the cook to make sure. They were nice and welcoming. They removed animal products in the dishes like fish sauce from the dunken tofu and egg and fish sauce from the pad thai. Our waiter took care of us. The experience and food was a pleasure.Vegetarian options: Some options for vegans. The waiter was so sweet to make sure and removed any animal products for me.Parking: The parking was not in the city but the parking lot was filled.

Came here for the second time and I had better eating experience than the first one. Staffs are sooo friendly and helpful, especially the owner (I think)- he really cares the customers!I got Takoyaki as appetizer, rice w cheese Tonkatsu, rolls and jjamppong or champon (seafood ramen). For the champon, you can either choose white or red soup and select the spicy level that you can handle. For me, medium is good so far. Although I saw Pork leg (jokbal) is offered on Thursdays, I still asked and luckily I had a chance to try this dish. Really delicious! Tender and juicy meat, good proportion for 2-3 people but a bit pricy.I enjoy this meal! Recommend the jokbal and spicy jjampong ??

Went there for lunch. 1 st time there. It's a little cozy place with tv's on the wall. Was seated immediately. They have a pretty extensive menu. I ordered my dish hot. But I guess I should have ordered extra hot. The spring rolls were fantastic ? Although a little pricey, the food was good. Will go back again.

Waiters were rude and could barely get a refill. Food was good when we did get it. So this place could be a hit or miss.

Ok so I love supporting any type of business or any establishment at that. The waiter was great and was a really cool guy. However from what me and my girlfriend had it was very bland. The ramen was actually pretty good. Now the reason as to why I am rating this place 1 star is because after paying for the meal I signed off on a tip and the manager comes over to our table and made a big fuss about how much we tipped him almost like he was demanding more. Then makes a statement saying that we shouldn’t be eating out if I can’t tip the recommended suggestion. Then as we left the restaurant I look back and seen a smirk on his face as he talks to his employees.

This is one of the best Asian restaurants we have ever had. We eat here regularly. The Auburn roll is fantastic. The Korean wings are also delicious.
