We were in town for an AU event. Our family decided to get reservations ahead of time, knowing there were other things going on that may make the location busy. We walked in, saw folks waiting, approached the greater and they confirmed our reservation. We were then seated immediately! The food was great and very filling. We will definitely be back when visiting Auburn!

Our local friends recommended this restaurant and except for the downright rude maitre d who needs to learn how to smile and gracefully welcome guests, it could not have been more perfect. Apparently their policy is not to seat the guests until the entire party has arrived. Even for a small party of four with reservations and a half empty restaurant, this elderly couple was made to wait and not proceed to the table for drinks and appetizers while our friends were stuck in traffic. After a full day in a conference we were certainly thirsty and hungry so our waitress lost out. And our friends stuck in traffic thought that they would only be a few minutes late so the snide comment by the maitre d when they finally arrived was not appropriate. A smile, a polite policy explanation, and a kind word or gesture could be useful training for their maitre d. Check out “customer service 101”.

Not handmade. Limited wine list and overpriced per glass. Appetizers ok, mostly fried from frozen product. Ambience and the room was exceptional; great server!

Just left. Did not get to try the food. Stood there 15 minutes watching them look over my husband and I. No one greeted us or anything. The young lady was standing there behind the counter when we arrived. She walked away and turned her back. Another lady came over then walked away as well.

My wife loves it but I'm not crazy about that kind of food.

This is the best Italian food, out side of NYC, of course. Everything was absolutely wonderful, my wife and I travel over an hour to this restaurant. We'll worth the trip.

Everytime we have eaten there it was fantastic, food and service are always great. Even when we recommend to others, it is great.

The service was great! We really enjoyed the salad and garlic bread, however, when our meals came out (we both ordered the scampi al forno), we were disappointed at how small and few the shrimp were. My dish had almost no flavor at all. When my husband mentioned that he enjoyed the spiciness of his dish I tasted his and he tasted mine. They were very different. His actually had flavor and heat. Also, the sauce was very watery and didn't coat the pasta at all. It looked like dirty dishwater at the bottom of our plates. I will say though that the deserts that we ordered were very good. It's just very sad to go to an Italian restaurant and have such a sub par pasta dish.

Very popular generic Italian food venue. I don't get it but clearly many people do.

Old school Italian restaurant decor. Artificial greenery and grapes hanging, chianti bottles on the wall and plastic table cloths, but liked it because it was nastalgic. Food was excellent. Put first visit and we will be back.

Even with a name change from Provinos, I still love this place. The atmosphere, the food, the selection, perfection.

Intimate atmosphere. Excellent service. Nice wine selection. Great cheesecake. Great garlic rolls. Husband really enjoyed the snapper. I ordered the veal Marsala. This will be one of our "go to" restaurants to unwind.
