We stopped in here for lunch after a local recommendation. Overall we were pretty pleased with the experience. Loved that as soon as we walked in they had an open pit there with a variety of meats cooking. A sign said that Monday was their Catfish specials day so I thought I’d try that, that is until I walked in and smelled the smoke from the open pit. I then decided I would have to try their BBQ. I am a bbq snob, and I am very critical of all bbq places as I think I smoke some pretty dang good meat myself. Visiting from Kentucky, heard good things about this place and had to try it. I got ribs, wife got fish sandwich, parents got pulled pork sandwiches. FANTASTIC! Subtle smoke flavor on the ribs, sauce was very tasty, all other food was great. Great customer service was great as well. Highly recommend!

We stopped in on our way traveling across the state. We tried stopping for BBQ in Tuscaloosa, but the lines were too long. So we continued on our journey along I-20. While the food at Bob’s is top notch, so is the staff. Friendly & helpful. Glad we had a cooler. We were able to take some extra with us.
