Eight of us stopped in Saturday about 5 for a drink before a show at Avondale. There were several people hanging inside so we sat out on the patio. My wife and I got an Old Fashioned and a Kentucky Mule. Both were solid and a decent bargain at $8.50 each. The patio is pretty nice too.

Tbh this is a hidden gem in Avondale. Mike and his crew he works with are a group of aces... just made it home from a great night and I hope he and the owner of this place know that I just made this place a top spot to be... 5 stars from beginning to end. Excellent service.

This is a cool place, the atmosphere is awesome and the food's great too! Brandon is an awesome cook, I got the chicken loaded nachos and I swear it was like 5 pounds of chicken and chips, really good stuff. They also got a fun shuffleboard table and a giant Scrabble board, definitely a fun little stop after a concert at Saturn next door.

Super casual bar with good food and kitchen stays open late. Had a lot of fun here meeting and talking with some great locals while getting some excellent mules. Enjoyed the Tuesday tacos.

Apparently I walked one step too far behind the bar at 41st street. I was walking over to ask for more popcorn and I got harassed like the guy behind was possessed. Everyone at the bar had all eyes down trying to understand what was going on. Tonight was an embarrassment for a quality Birmingham bar. Sad to say I can't recommend friends going back to this bar. Very upsettting. See video.

1/3/23, 8:30pm, Tuesday. If you are looking for a casual chill bar with lots of drink options, and maybe throw some darts, this is your place! This was post holiday weekend a little later on a Tuesday night, so not much happening. There were less than 10 people in the place. Clean, great atmosphere, awesome bartender, very delicious tacos for Taco Tuesday!The surrounding area before this 1/4 - 1/2 mile strip of bars was industrial and a little run down with some litter. But this area and strip of bars was clean and inviting

Brian was amazing! Best margaritas I've ever had! And the kitchen was closed so they even let us order in food from somewhere else. 100% I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

All I can say is the slim lady working on Nov 27th at 8:30 pm was rude and didn’t want to serve us because she didn’t believe my and a friends age. Asking for zodiac sign as proof of age has never happened to us before. We both produced valid state ids and she didn’t serve us. I’m a regular here and Avondale brewery every other weekend but I guess I’ll stick with the brewery for now coz I receive excellent service and not being refused service even if I’m 26 years old. disgusting!!!!

Came here for the first time for a wedding reception and to watch the game. So I can't review the food but the ambiance and atmosphere was nice.
Try the Frosé! I love that drink. They have a very cool wall scrabble board that is magnetic. Great local bar.

Went here before the MJG and 8 ball concert. Shuffle board game was pretty fun and there are some dark boards outback which are good also. Got the drinks pretty quickly from the bartender, but they were a little pricey. Also nuts. Also not sure if it had a billiard's table or if it did not

Pretty good drinks and relaxed atmosphere with several shuffleboards and other games throughout. However, as other reviewers have mentioned; the older male bartender with a beard is extremely unhappy working there. It was difficult for him to even communicate with me, a patron. This was a Thursday afternoon with a dead bar so I’m unsure why he was in such a poor mood. I sincerely hope he doesn’t act this way every day or this place will lose so many customers each time he works. I’ll give it another chance but hopefully when I go a second time the bartender won’t be there.And if the bartender ever reads this… please for your own mental health, get a new job my dude. You deserve to be happy and this is obviously not the place you’re finding it.
