This is a great student hangout spot. It was surprisingly small, and there wasn't a lot of parking space. The back entry is closed. The building isn't visually appealing either but the food is good and the location is convenient.

A 24 hour food place in bham! If you're out for late night grub you'll find this is one of the few places open and it's one of the better ones. The loaded baked potatoes they have are out of this world and they also have all things gyro! The picture that accompanies this is usually how one ends up at Al'sWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space and no stairs!

This used to be one of the best places to eat. Now it is not. We came in at 11:00 opening after being at the hospital since 5:30 am. starving. And we were given fries that were not even cooked all the way. I am extremely disappointed in Al’s quality. And it ruined it for me. I will probably never eat here again. Miss the old owners.

I order a ribeye steak and I'm not sure what they gave me but I'm 100% sure it wasn't a ribeye. I think it's wrong for a restaurant to lie about what they give to there customers

My son and I ordered the ribeye plates, cooked medium.They were tough, rare and definitely NOT ribeyes. I didn't get the feeling that complaining would help so we just ate the rice and salad. Won't be back.

The food is so good here. I had the cheeseburger first. So juicy and full of flavor. Then I had the meatball kabob entree to go. Even needing to reheat it later, it was sooo good.

Ordered some wings. They tasted as if they hadn't been washed. They was awful. I just asked for a refund. They informed me I could not have one, that they could only give me something else.Where in America do you go out to eat but can't get a refund after tasting the food being awful.So now I was forced to order something I didn't want. Wait on it while on my lunch break also they charged me another dollar to receive the salad.Never again will I be back to Als.I see why most of your business was drunk people at night

Just called to let them know my burgers were pink from Saturday night not done at all and I did call back but no answer. We were at a nearby hotel so decided to get dinner there and never again. I called and got someone today because honestly I almost forgot to call about it and the manager is a ghetto mess. Kept asking me the same question over and over again asking why I’m just now calling and I told her I didn’t think about it until again now because it was my son’s birthday. She was very rude. She doesn’t even sound like she be running an establishment. Get y’all some better workers and make sure y’all cook that meat through. 0/10!!!!!!

The guy at the register is preoccupied with hitting in the lady in the kitchen to be bothered with taking my order. He asked, "what can I get for you", with his back turned to me. Didn't even bother turning around. I stood there until he asked again. Still with his back turned. I stood there until he turned around and faced me. Then I made sure he watched as I signed the receipt with NO tip. Jerk!
