Food is ok. Their olive oil is not legit Italian. It was thin and not flavorful. Linguini and clams was alright. Sat at the bar and service was less than great. If there's other Italian places to visit, skip this one.

Jordan was our server and she was so friendly, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was amazing! You can't go wrong with anything you order. Get the dessert! Don't pass it up. It's divine! The Sangria was so tasty and not overly sweet!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Bocca and it did not disappoint! We had the most amazing server, Sebastian, and he took impeccable care of us. Not to mention, everything we ate was phenomenal. All of the staff was extremely nice and attentive, but I cannot say enough about how well Sebastian did. He made our anniversary dinner so special and we will definitely be back soon!

Great food and service. The door service was kind of weird. People in sweatshirts that look miserable.

You can’t block 3 public street parking spots for your valet.

Wonderful food and service -- don't miss the bread service, carpaccio and garganelli with asparagus. Meeting and chatting with Carlos about wine was a real treat. Highly recommended for a night out or groups. We will be back soon!

The service was awesome. Valet and inside service were superd. We made reservations but showed up almost an hour early. They went ahead and seated us.I ordered the braised short rib. It was served on a bed of polenta. My short rib was so tender. The polenta was good. They both were seasoned to perfection.Parking: We utilized the valet parking, but it looked like street parking was optional.

Came here during the week to celebrate one of our friends birthday and had an absolute wonderful time!! The vibe is definitely upscale and we all dressed up for the occasion. The service is pretty quick and we loved our server! I will say, everything is a bit on the pricier side. We brought cake to be cut and they do have a $5 PER SLICE charge for the cake to be cut and brought to the table so keep that in mind if you do bring cake from outside. The menu has a lot of seafood options so if you're like me and not a big seafood fan, then there's only limited options. Now on to the good part, the food! We got a few appetizer for the table starting with the Caesar anchovy salad. I'm not a seafood fan but my girlfriends liked the salad. We also got the veal meatballs. These were delicious! I definitely recommend ordering off the menu. The Arancini Di Roso was also good! Probably not the best one I've ever had. It was not as flavorful as ones I've had before. We also got a bread basket which was good!! The bread was delicious! Slightly crispy on the outside but very soft on the inside! My main course was the short ribs with polenta. I thought the short ribs tasted excellent! The meat was soft and not tough. Buuut I wasn't a fan of the polenta. The polenta tasted like it was cooked a little too long. Overall, I did enjoy coming to this restaurant! Would come again!

We went to this restaurant on the advice of #badassbham. It did not disappoint. The food was very good and delightfully presented. We tried every dessert. They were all very delicious. I was so surprised by the doughnut that we had to confirm our delight with another.

I'm sure the scallops and risotto would have been good if it had been warm when I got it. The scallops were fresh and sweet. The risotto had no seasoning and tasted like cold mush.

Everything, and I mean everything, was exquisite. From start to finish, every aspect of this meal was amazing. Attentive service with knowledgeable staff, perfect sauces, perfect portions. One of the best meals I’ve had in Birmingham. Worth the cost, will be back again! Recommend the Bolognese and the squid ink pasta for sure!

The food is phenomenal. I do not believe you could pick a bad item, but I truly cannot describe the amazing service that we had. We sat at the bar for dinner & the men that served us were outstanding! The people that work here value your cuisine/drink interests and invest their time into making it an unforgettable dining experience. My friends and I fell in love with this place and we will be back!

The best restaurant in Birmingham, and it’s not particularly close. The food, the staff and the atmosphere put it tiers above others, it is the must have dining occasion for special events/celebrations. This was my second time dining at Bocca, and it exceeded expectations yet again. If you are looking for an incredible evening with your significant other or family, Bocca is the place to be. Thank you Chef and to the staff at Bocca for an amazing experience.
