Great food. My husband and I ate in the restaurant. Husband got country fried steak, corn and dried Lima beans with cornbread. I got fried fish, fried green tomatoes, and sweetpotatoes with rolls. We both had Banana Pudding. A lot more than we could eat. If you haven't eaten there, it's a must try.We will go back. ??????Vegetarian options: Fried Green Tomatoes are awesome.

The quality of the food is like it came right out of your home kitchen. A true family business. The service was so friendly and hospitable. Only a small little gripe was the wait to get the food but then again they were very busy when we went and the ambiance made it a pleasing wait. 10/10 will come again!

I love eating the breakfast here. The staff is always nice and courteous. I always come to Fife’s when I’m downtown in the morning to get the good breakfast. Such a good establishment. Wish more places like this existed.
The worst food I have ever eaten , now I’m not the one to write reviews however, this was the dirtiest place I have ever eaten at, I get it’s a ma and pa restaurant but the grease all over the wall and the black crud is disgusting! The gentleman serving my food begged me to tip before I could even pay (which I was going to tip anyways) very unprofessional! And then it was 30 dollars for two plates, me and my gf had chicken wings and fries, also had a side of mac and cheese and it made me wanna throw up, my girlfriend got apple pie and it was soggy and gross, the chicken and fries were cold, and you could tell it had been sitting for some time and could’ve possibly been from the day before. Nasty and I would never recommend this establishment until these issues are fixed.

Fife's is the best " Meat and Three" in Birmingham!!! The food is Always great and the service is too!!! I never get tired of eating there. I even brought a friend from California here and they got two plates, so they could try everything! They loved it!!! Besides great food and service, it is a cool old place to eat, it looks the same as it did in 1959. Oh by the way if you love music and history; Fife's is where Dan Rather interviewed The Blind Boys Of Alabama ... I hope Fife's never changes a thing!!!
