Everything I've had here is good except for the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise lacks luster and the yolk is too stiff. Their traditional breakfast is the way to go here. Their fresh juices are also very good.

The food is great, well prepared. The service is good as well besides me being brought my “Million Dollar Bacon” 10 minutes ahead of the rest of my food. I had to decline and tell them to wait until I’m brought all of my food. That’s my only gripe. The atmosphere is welcoming for what it’s worth. Depends on what’s “welcoming” in your eyes but it’s not unfriendly. In the end I highly recommend eating at this place. I’ve eaten at all 3 greater B’ham locations: Hoover, Vestavia, 280. Hoover’s the best in my opinion. The “MDB” is great. Pancakes are great. Italian Omelet I most recently had for first time was great as well as the grits. My girlfriend had French toast and loved it. Food has always hit the spot.

Music is way too loud for dining! It ruins the pleasurable experience of eating and conversing with family and friends. I understand it’s Corporate dictated. Speaking is around 65-70 decibels. Music is already at that level. Music should be 50-55 max for comfortable interaction with others at the table. Too bad. We rarely go because of the music.

I experience racism in the Hoover store yes I'm African-American yes she is a white woman she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us if I had done or said something I would not say that it was a racial but because I know we had not said anything and everybody was in a good attitude even when we ordered our drinks after that she wanted nothing to do with us she took the order for our food experience the reason why I'm saying this is because the whole time we remain calm I got in touch with the corporate office and let them know that I spend this at this store when I call them management to let her know I experience some more racism the reason why I said that she had a smirk on her face like it was okay for the disrespect and she said you know what I'll just pay for your food what a half a smile and I told her no thank you I don't need her to do that like I said I reported to corporate office if you experienced anything at this Hoover store please get in touch with corporate office do not allow them getting away with mistreating people if you don't report it they will get away with it

A couple of times dining in and every time I have ordered door dash parts of my order are missing. Today myself and one other person decided to DoorDash from here we received our food the waffle was soggy with no syrup and was cool. same for my food the toast was left off as usual. My omelette was cool and the vegetables were very salty. I don't understand why the food was cold seeing as where I live 2 minutes away if that and the dasher had been there waiting a while. I usually don't complain because I do like this restaurant but for the price of the food there is no reason I keep having a bad experience. With that said today is the last time I will DoorDash or eat at this establishment.

My order was per door dash. I paid extra for a blueberry muffin I did not receive. I ate here on recommendation, this place is not that good for me to be paying for things I did not receive. If the food was top tier I wouldn’t even worry about it, but it’s not. Waffle House is cheaper and they won't jack up your order if they do they fix it or at least let you know. I would not recommend, there's definitely better in the area.
