I was nervous about the limited menu. But everyone raved about their selections which were served hot and ample portions. They have TVs for those who want to watch sports. Great place to meet friends or stop by for drinks after work. I had the Uptown shrimp served asian slaw.

Simply the best drinks and food. I have been eating at Five Bar Birmingham for 10 years and the flavor and consistency of the food has always been A1. And the staff always makes me feel at home. Micheal is a is a joy also every time I visit .
The food was cold and the food runner was upset because we requested hot food. They were rude and avoidant as well. I brought my family here from out of town and this was their first, but unfortunately..last time going there.

The best Strawberry Lemonade hands down the 1st go round. 2nd was a little heavy on the liquor lol. I had chicken n waffles and the chicken was seasoned very well and the waffle was scrumptious. The music was fun to listen to. It was pretty toasty in there though. They also ran out of beignets so get there early to get your order in for those.
We went to Five to celebrate my sisters birthday. We had a great time. The service was spot on. The food was cooked perfectly. All of our orders were cooked just as we ordered. If you want to try something new, this is the spot.

The atmosphere was not too noisy even with a Live Band. The music ? selections were very nice. The service and wait time was not long at all, even with other family members still arriving a few minutes after my arrival. The Pineapple Mimosa was delightfully paired with the Caramel-Apple Beignets (which was very good) and the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, and my sister selected the Chicken Tenders, and she stated that they were seasoned to perfection as well. My Dad enjoyed the Breakfast Cheese Burger with Fries (maybe a little more seasoning, he said), but he cleaned his plate. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return.

Five Bar is one of my favorite places to go for brunch. I’ve had the delicious shrimp & grits and the chicken & waffles. The waffle is so fluffy and very flavorful. Their menu is not big which is a plus for me & their mimosas are very good. I love the ambiance and music
