Tried to order a cake from the Trussville location, but they would rather stand around than make a cake so we ordered from the Galleria location instead. The cake was perfect, and the lady who made it came over to talk to us to make sure we were happy with it. It was a little gesture, but it meant a lot to have someone like that care about making sure you are happy. That is above and beyond what I expect. Will definitely use this location in the future for my cake needs!

We have ordered from this location before and had a great experience, however, yesterday was not the case. To start with, their phones have been down for two days. We've been attempting to call and ask for an earlier pickup time. We went ahead and attempted to go earlier to try and pick up our cookie cake in the hopes it would be ready. Mind you, we were there for pickup at 3:45 instead of the original 4:45. Only an hour earlier. When the associates were asked if the cake was ready, they were rude and seemed annoyed. We kindly told them we would wait the 30 minutes it would take to get the cake. When the cake was brought out, there was hardly any icing. This is unacceptable and the associates need to work on their customer service. Get the phones fixed too! How does a business run without working phones?!?!

Man I wish I would have gotten her name!! The associate who made this cake did a wonderful job as you can see. ???? She did it in 45 minutes! Like this was a wonderful experience and she was SO kind. I will definitely be coming back to this location. $45 for this cookie cake. Talk about a WIN!!

Nasty! The manager has a cold and while serving cookies yesterday wiped her nose on the back of her none gloved hand and kept right on serving. The short overweight lady with glasses was coughing while fixing icees for a customer and doesn't bother to cover her mouth. I got out of line! They dont have any variety of cookies anyway. This location has went downhill in the last year. They use to have an array of cookies, now it's just chocolate chip, red velvet, and double chocolate.. no more peanut butter or chocolate chip pecan. And they are closed by 6 pm during the week. They were closed Monday and Tuesday this week- how are you operating in a mall and closed during mall hours?!? I asked the cashier if they were under new management and she said she didn't know, I asked why they limited their menu...she said she didn't know. I won't be going back.

Just went to Great American Cookies and was very disappointed in their customer service. The young lady that was behind the counter had her back turned and was also on her phone. At no point did she ask if she could help me. As I was actually looking for a certain cookie that I didn’t currently see. Before I could ask about it , the young lady was assisting a person who came after me(who happened to be a different race than I was…just saying)The customer was nice and acknowledged that I was there before her, and wanted to make sure she was not cutting in line. By this point I chose not to spend my funds here. So I informed her she could go ahead. At which the young lady behind the counter informed the customer she was fine. This was very rude and unprofessional to say the least. If I could give a zero I would.
You can never go wrong by getting a cookie from here!! The Riverchase Galleria store is no exception! The staff is friendly and the cookies are always fresh!

This place is absolutely disappointing and disgusting. They don’t carry a lot of cookies the other stores have and the staff is rude. I saw an employee eating on the counter while checking out, which is a huge food hazard and is gross. This place has really gone down hill over the last few years. Management doesn’t seem to care that employees can do whatever they want when working.
