Ordered many things. Pasta salad was bad, noodles overcooked. The two pita sandwiches I ordered were average at best. The pitas were not greek (which you would expect from a place called Gyros Cafe). They were more shawarma like pitas which are not tasty for gyro meat. The salad was my favorite but there literally no lettuce. Lots of feta, veggies, olives but no lettuce and the dressing was subpar. It wasn't horrible but I would not order again.

The menu offering for the price is awesome. The dinning experience is always pleasant and never disappointing. The selection of items they offer is huge. While Mediterranean restaurants abound in the Birmingham greater area, in the Trussville-Clay area there are a few restaurants that offer a few items that are considered Mediterranean cuisine. This is where Gyro's Cafe comes to the rescue by offering a surprisingly excellent menu and a wide assortments of tasty Mediterranean dinning selections. My family visits at least every other weekend. Don't expect a darken dinning area with candles on the table, this is a cafe. You will be rewarded with a budget friendly price and food that rivals any other Mediterranean Dining restaurants.

Always consistent and fresh. The smoothies are good as well as the kabobs. My go to is ribeye steak dinner with no feta on the salad.
