Happy China has hands down the best Chinese in town. Unfortunately I don't go to this side of town often but when I do I stop in for a quick bite! Their egg drop and wonton soup is amazing! Warm, hearty and its own flavor compared to other Chinese establishments in the area. We also really love the owner and her kids - they are so sweet. You feel like family. I can't recommend Happy China enough!

Ordered 2 meals to go, 1 was as stated, the other was not what I ordered (or expected) at all. Did not even eat he 2nd meal. When I called to explain my disappointment, I was told the 2nd meal was as stated. Hmm. Not the response I expected. It's hard to confuse garlic with "sweet and sour". Just disappointed in response. I assumed there would be an offer to replace the 2nd meal at no cost.

Best hot and sour soup in Birmingham! Spicy dishes actually have a little spice which is appreciated.

Such an amazing family restaurant! We loved the food and the experience. The recipes are different from other Chinese restaurants around and they provide truly a one-of-a-kind meal. We will absolutely be coming back!

Food was chewy, stringy, and soggy. If I go to the Chinese restaurant at the Galleria, I get crispy, soft, delicious chicken. I will try my best to remember to never come back here. If this had come with broccoli like most General Tao’s chicken does it would have been a little better, but the chicken was disgusting. Tasted like it had big spots of fat in it too, on top of being stringy, hard, soggy, and chewy.

Food is excellent! Huge dinner portions. I got the garlic chicken and it was the perfect amount of spice. I highly recommend it.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat vegetables but love fried rice, so they were nice enough to make my rice with egg only and leave out the veggies with my meal.

The vegan options are Amazing and, according to my meat eater friend, so is the Hunan Chicken and Crab Rangoon. The braised tofu and side of fried rice made my night, and the handmade spring rolls where the cherry on top! Take out recommended, and call ahead bc they are always busy! As a bonus, the owner's toddler son was hanging out and talking to us while we waited ❤️!Vegetarian options: Full selection of vegan options and the owners understand and are happy to help choose between!Kid-friendliness: Owner's toddler was around being cute to everyone, other kids were in and out too.Parking: Strip mallWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Owner accommodated to my egg allergy.

Crab Rangoon had zero filling; meats covered with too much cornstarch which made it a horrible jelly-like texture. Returned for refund and witnessed a worker hanging up on someone trying to place an order and she was very rude. We received a $5 refund and a very kind customer gave $20 toward our dispute and the worker tried to keep that, and called it her tip. If you’ve had good Chinese, this isn’t it and you’ll know it right away. Don’t waste your time or money here. If you’re okay with subpar Chinese food, this is your spot.

Food was okay. When I asked for napkins, was only given a small thin napkin. I asked for more napkins, the cashier rolled her eyes at me!
