Great atmosphere, friendly staff and unique and yummy menu items! I enjoyed my experience here as a first timer. I had a iced matcha latte and the autumn toast. The metal straw with my latte threw me off a little bit but I didn’t mind it.

I love this place! Great environment and extremely friendly staff. They’re also very knowledgeable about coffee/tea products. Don’t be afraid to ask for something not on the menu. And the price for the product is unbeatable. No, it doesn’t have a drive through. But you can get a cup of coffee, leave a generous tip, and still come out cheaper than Starbucks! And their coffee tastes better. Yeah, I said it. If you’re ever near by, stop by. You won’t regret it.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Birmingham! I come here often to get work done and it's the perfect atmosphere. I have had their hot chocolate, cappuccino, and cold brew, and all of them have been absolutely delicious. If I could afford to be a regular I absolutely would!

Great little coffee shop. Amazing pour overs and pretty good espresso. Each coffee comes with a little shortbread cookie which pairs well with the coffee. For sure would come check this place out if you're in the area.

This place is awesome! They have a variety of different coffees, syrups made in house, and a small food selection. While I wish they had more food options, the coffee was fantastic. Hands down the best iced caramel latte I have ever had
I work in the area and Innova is my go to coffee shop for a couple reasons. The coffee quality is very good and the atmosphere is comfortable and good for getting some work done or having a casual meeting. The lobby/coffee bar area has a decent amount of comfortable seating. The other reason is that I can walk there on a nice day! As other reviewers noted, it's located in the lobby area of the 4700 Colonnade apartment complex and the parking right by the door is usually filled up when I visit, but I've always found a spot driving further into the complex. Staff has always been friendly and I've always experienced quick service, but I tend to go at times when it's not very busy.

Great place for a cup of coffee! The atmosphere is chill and the prices are fair. Not a super large selection is the only problem I have with it. I had their latte and it tasted great! Highly recommend!

This place is nice, was looking for a coffee shop to stop by before going shopping and I just saw this on maps so we went. I didn’t realize it was inside of an apartment lobby area, but it is open to the public so it doesn’t really matter. The latte and hot chocolate were pretty good, the muffin wasn’t the best though. The employees and baristas were super nice!

I visit Birmingham a few times a year and I have started booking a hotel a little further from work so it is more convenient to go to Innova! I am happy to have delicious pour-over coffee to start the day, but the real treasure is the owner Tyler. He is an exceptionally nice person and somehow remembers me even though I’m only in every few months. I’m impressed with the coffee, the food, the space, and the people.

Awesome find, glad I decided to swing by while staying at a hotel nearby for a work trip. Super chill environment, very friendly baristas. Oh, and the coffee is excellent too! Highly recommend the maple bourbon latte and pumpkin bread. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!
