Came in on a Monday for lunch around 3PM . Sat at the bar the bartender was very rude . Her name was Bre I believe . Me and my friend was eating at the bar but we had a small issue with the food , I told bre and she said she would work on it but never returned . 20 mins later another bartender who had been been here but not acknowledged us asked if everything was okay . I told her about the issue with the food and she said she would work on it . I guess since we were the only African American’s at the bar they wanted to treat us less than but our money spends the same . If you are African American this may not be the best environment for you . Especially since it is in Hoover Alabama we’re we are knowingly unwanted .

Food is amazing from the chicken fingers to the Maui steak !! Delicious. Can't go wrong with J. Alexander's perfect for date night or grabbing food after church/work. The bar ambiance is great! Also the drinks are top tier!!
