I got the orange chicken that came with fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken was so overcooked and chewy that if felt like eating plastic. Couldn't even finish the food! The egg roll was decent though.

Yelp! I have become a regular at Magic Wok. Tonight we are a party of 3, Bae, baby Dee and me. We decided to eat in tonight. You really casual but your front counter staff is pleasant with smiles. Christmas is in the air, I love your tree. And, this Run, Run Rudolph got me head banging. Bae got General Tso delight, Baby Dee got garlic empire, hold the beef, I got the Schezwan chicken. Delicious! We tried the hot sour soup tonight, it's just okay. But, the rest of this stuff good. Y'all already know, I'll be back.

So for starters, they get an A++ in my book on speed and taste!!! My Kung Pao Chicken Empire dish was amazingly delicious and my second order was also really good! The only downside this restaurant has is the parking, but honestly it is worth it!
This is my go to place in Birmingham for chicken lo mein. The people who have taken my order are always nice and the food comes out fast and fresh every time. Great size food portion for the price as well.

Today, I ordered online and picked up the Orange Chicken and Thai Coconut Shrimp. Both came with fried rice and egg rolls. I also ordered Crab Rangoons. Let's talk about the good: I ordered around 1:30p and it took about 10 minutes to get my order. The staff is always nice and prompt. And the store was nice and clean. The Crab Rangoons were really good. I do recommend that it's something you try. My favorite item of this lunch The portion sizes are huge, you could have 2-3 meals off of just one plate. Now let's really talk: The Orange Chicken and Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp were meh, mid, bland etc. I would not go back to this restaurant based on these dishes. I was surprised at the lack of seasoning on these. The fried rice was undercooked, dry and tasteless. There may be better things on the menu but these two dishes were not it. The egg roll was ok as well.

I can only say that I was disappointed with how cruel the staff was at this location. I ordered food for a man who was hungry at this location. They changed my order to plain noodles. Then when I went in to correct the order to what he asked for (and what I paid for), they made me pay for the order again and through the original order aways (even though this had already been purchased). I was just surprised at the lack of compassion and plain cruelty of their staff.
