My wife and I have eaten at Pappadeaux all over Texas, Albuquerque and Birmingham. This was our third time passing through and eating at this restaurant.So to say the least we were surprised how bad the service really was this time. Our waiter was totally inept at performing his job.Now the food. Wife ordered bake potato without sour cream. Potato comes late because he forgot it with sour cream. He goes to get another but decided to get a whole other tables food at the same time. We had waited so long my wife’s food was getting cold. Another waiter came by and ask was there a problem and we told him the potato issue, he goes and gets a potato fixed correctly and is back a good 5 minutes before our waiter shows up. Our waiter come up and claims he had to wait on new baked potatoes coming out for service. Really your going to tell this lie, when actually you have arrive with the next tables food. I ran out of tea three times. The last I just got up and went and got my own. No one would understand just how bad it was.

Not the best seafood , ordered the fried seafood platter and the fish was over cooked. Tasted like paste in your mouth. Was not flaky at all like fish should be.

Pappadeaux Platter delicious, freshly cooked moist flavorful and the size of the portion was enough to share. My reservation was for 7:00 p.m. that evening on Wednesday, the attendant did not come to my table until 7:20 p.m., we had to wait at least another 10 minutes for her to come back to our table to take out order. Long story short it took an hour for us to get our order for three. and I would say that's pretty durable for what we chose to have and enjoy. And The waitress was very accommodating. The ambiance boho Chic You can dress down and you can dress up. like dining on a stateside cruise ship restaurant. It was my 70th birthday I had a great time It was a great atmosphere the food was definitely delicious! I recommend come and check them out. Mid high the high range prices and it's worth it especially when it's done to your request.
