Solid fast food joint with a huge menu with both Mediterranean and more standard burger/deli options. Bunch of seating, both indoors and on a covered patio on the side. Also a drive through. Came for eat-in dinner on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy. Staff was friendly, and our food was ready in good time.Ordered two gyro wrap combos (comes with fries and a fountain drink). Gyros were great; good quality meat, wrapped in a thin pita, and comes with lettuce, tomato, and a house sauce (not tzatziki). Fries were good quality crinkle cut, not too thick and had good crispiness. Pretty good selection of desserts, too!Parking: While the upper lot is usually full of Wild Wings and Carabba's customers, Purple Onion has its own spots that are usually pretty free. Can also park across the shopping center drive if you don't mind a bit of a walk.

I ordered honey bbq wings and as you can see there is no bbq sauce on those wings. Instead of the lady simply admitting that they messed up she tried to convince me I may have wanted more sauce and she seen the preparer put bbq sauce on the wings. I simply called them to make them aware of their mistake. I even said I did not care for bringing it back because it is an inconvenience and that was the purpose of using door dash. However, the female worker still wanted to continue repeating herself as if her lie would become true. It was completely unnecessary and I ended the call.

Delightful food. Great location near the hospital and med center. Burgers and fries were quite tasty. Hope to try their Mediterranean faire next time.

The tabouli is good. The baked potato was ok. For as huge as it is it needed a little more toppings, but it was nice and soft. I ate half of it there and brought the other half home and hooked it up at home. My cousin said the turkey burger was good.

I've been waiting at the drive through window for about 5 or 6 minutes. They're not supposed to close for 30 more minutes. They shut the lights off inside while I was waiting here to order.

First and last time eating here. I placed a call in order. Went to pick it up. It was ready when i get there. The establishment is clean. My food is ready. So I’m excited to dive in. Then things went left. The onion rings and wings looked dry and overcooked. So i asked the cashier if this is how they cooked their onion rings. She said yes because they are frozen. I then ask for extra lemon pepper and salt. To which she seemed to be extremely annoyed. As I’m leaving she proceeds to download the cook on me asking for lemon pepper and salt and about the onion rings. Extremely unprofessional for a split second interaction that wasn’t blown out of proportion. I was not satisfied with the food overall. But it was mostly the interaction that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a potential repeat customer.

Not a hidden gem. Food is well overpriced for what you get. Chicken sandwich was frozen patty from Costco along with the burger. I've had better food at a gas station or fair in a parking lot. Very very very mid. Not even worth trying. Totally regret going there.

My recent dining experience at The Purple Onion in Inverness was a Mediterranean culinary journey that left me thoroughly impressed. The menu at The Purple Onion offers a delectable array of Mediterranean dishes, and I was excited to explore its flavors. I started with the traditional Mediterranean mezze platter, which featured an assortment of hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, and pita bread. Each component was bursting with authentic flavors, and it was a perfect way to begin the meal. For the main course, I opted for the lamb shawarma, which was a mouthwatering delight. The tender, thinly sliced lamb was marinated to perfection and served with fluffy rice and a refreshing cucumber yogurt sauce. Every bite was a harmonious blend of spices and textures, transporting me to the heart of the Mediterranean. The ambiance at The Purple Onion was cozy and inviting, with a Mediterranean-inspired decor that added to the overall experience. The attentive service was the cherry on top, making my visit truly memorable. The Purple Onion in Inverness is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Mediterranean dining experience, and I'm already looking forward to returning to savor more of their exceptional cuisine.

Waited 25 mins for that to go order to just get home and throw away all the food. I’m never coming back.

Wish it could be no stars…Placed an online order late tonight before they closed(they accepted the order). They locked the doors a few mins early. Okay fine, no problem, I placed a late order and most place lock the doors 5 mins early. They didn’t cancel my order though. I couldn’t cancel or I wouldn’t be refunded. Tried to go to the window when I saw a lady there and she literally ran to avoid me. A full grown lady. They were peeking to see if I was there. A guy came out to get a trash bag and wouldn’t even listen, literally, hardly even looked and was just shaking his head no. Wasn’t trying to order or get anyone to do anything special. I had to yell through the window to say I just have a question. Only wanted to see if they were able to cancel it from their end so I could be refunded(saw a pos system still on) If not, okay fine, but I figured I’d ask. Not once was I rude or trying to ask for anything special. Everybody was very rude, like what. Most places will at-least come to you like “hey, sorry no, we’re closed” but they literally ran. All very grown people. Even when I told the guy I’m not trying to get anything, just had a quick question. Met with rudeness. Had the simplest question, all it need was a “yeah sure” or a “no our systems are all shut down”. Just all felt very unnecessary, hostile and extra. Instead of just coming to the window/taking 2secs to listen and answer a question.
